Registration Required T, Sept. 13 4 p.m. Calling all dragon fans! Come make a cozy nest for your very own dragon egg.

Pumpkin Wreath Ages: 10 – 17 yrs.

Registration Required T, Sept. 20 4 p.m. Get ready for fall with this simple but cute DIY pumpkin wreath made using deco mesh.

Teen Advisory Board Ages 13 – 18 yrs. Registration Not Required Last Tuesday of every month 4 p.m. The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is a way for you to have a voice at the library, participate in programs with other teens, and help others in your community. This is a lot of fun and a great opportunity to earn volunteer credit for school. Questions? Call Haidee at (563) 589-4225, ext. 2248.

Artistic Escape Ages: 16 & younger Registration Required M, Sept. 19 4:30 – 6 p.m. Experiment with different art mediums and styles like Joan Miró. Create a unique artwork, inspired by surrealism and abstract expressionism. Materials provided.

Five Nights at Freddy’s Escape Room Ages: 12 – 17 yrs. Registration Required F, Oct. 7 3 p.m. Welcome to Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza! The perfect place to play, have fun, and... run from attacking animatronics? Outsmart the animatronics and escape from the ever-so-creepy pizzeria at this in-person event.

World Card Making Day Ages: 10 – 16 yrs.

Registration Required M, Oct. 3 4 – 5:30 p.m. Celebrate World Card Making Day at the library. We will have plenty of card-making materials to choose from, including decorative paper punchers and calligraphy pens.

Interactive Movie – Hocus Pocus Ages: 8 – 17 yrs. Registration Required Sun, Oct. 16 1 p.m. Join us for this fun interactive family movie. We’ll provide all the props you need to sing, dance, and act along with the characters while watching the film. Families welcome to attend. This film is PG.

Haunted Mini Terrariums Ages: 10 – 15 yrs.

Registration Required Th, Oct. 27 3:30 – 5 p.m. Build a creepy decorative terrarium to keep spooky season alive all year long.

Post-it® Note Art Gallery Ages: 13 – 17 yrs. Registration Not Required Nov. 1 – 30 Make your mark in the Teen Zone Art Gallery! Create a mini masterpiece using sticky notes, markers, and colored pencils.

Gratitude Beads Ages: 12 – 17 yrs.

Registration Required Th, Nov. 3 4 p.m. What are you grateful for? Use alphabet beads to create stretchy bracelets with words of inspiration and gratitude. Jasmine Dragon Tea Shop Ages: 10 – 17 yrs. Registration Required M, Nov. 7 4 – 5:30 p.m. The Jasmine Dragon is not just a place, but a touchstone of beautiful memories. Brew different kinds of tea from “Avatar: The Last Airbender: The Official Cookbook,” enjoy an Avatar-inspired activity, and discuss all things Avatar.

Whimsical Mushrooms Decor Ages: 10 – 17 yrs. Registration Required W, Nov. 23 1 – 2:30 p.m. Jump in on one of the newest art trends on social media: hot glue art. Recreate a magical scenery of luminescent mushrooms and moss inside a wooden frame.

Passive Escape Room Dec. 1 – 30 Registration Not Required Stop by the Teen Zone and observe an ongoing saga of our character as they escape the perils of ever-transforming obstacles. The challenges they face will be determined by our patrons who cast their votes each week.

Teen Santa’s Workshop Ages: 10 – 17 yrs.

Registration Required M, Dec. 12 4 – 6 p.m. Beat the holiday rush by preparing gifts early! Create cards, ornaments, crafts, and gift bags for your favorite people. Materials provided.
