2023 Senior Advisory Council Candidate Information

Arlene Cohen would like to contribute ideas and share with other older adults the fun she has experienced at the Senior Center Arlene volunteers with the Senior Center library and greeting card program.

Jim Cragg (incumbent) would like to continue to serve on the council and keep the council active. He thoroughly enjoys working with Sue and Josh on new, exciting programs and events.

Marlene Fischer (incumbent) would like to help plan the future of the Senior Center. Marlene volunteers with Lunch and Chat, Red Hat and Coffee Klatch activities, as well as most special events and education sessions.

Don Jacobson (incumbent) finds serving on the council rewarding and wants to continue for another two years. He believes the Senior Center is a great place for seasoned people to meet and enjoy activities, and feels he can help the Senior Center continue to grow.

Brian Larson is interested in what the advisory council does and how he can help with the Senior Center's programs and events. He currently participates in the Discussion Group and Men’s Group.

Sylvia Peterson wants to return to the council to offer input and support decisions that keep the Senior Center successful. She volunteers with special events, gardens our beautiful grounds and attends many classes and events.

Gayl Smith (incumbent) wants to continue her service on the council to help monitor program participation. She enjoys being involved in the planning and decision making, then seeing the enjoyment the Senior Center brings to others.
