Welcome to National Dance Week

Use this event guide to find dozens of dance workshops, classes and activities produced by individuals and organizations throughout the Eugene area. We have something for dance lovers of all interests, ages and abilities.

Be sure to pick up your National Dance Week passport at any of these events, or download and print it yourself. Bring your passport to any event listed in this guide and the instructor or host will add an entry to it (you may fill out the passport yourself for online events). Complete at least three events, then follow the instructions in the passport to be entered to win a fun prize.

Come try Céili dancing with the Frolicking Meese! Céili (pronounced “kay-lee”) is a social dance style from Ireland. It is related to Contra and Square dance, but a little faster and danced to Irish music. Our classes are beginner-friendly, so no partner or dance experience required. No street shoes or heels, please. Please bring a water bottle and comfortable shoes that have not been worn outside.

This event is intended to kickoff a series of monthly Noches Latinas at WOW Hall, which will feature Latine DJs from our community. ¡Ándale, vamos a bailar!
