"I enjoyed doing cross country this year, it was a good time. I would definitely recommend it, its a great way to make friends I started in freshman year because I had nothing else to do and my dad was good at it. II

This year Golden Demons Field Hockey did the best they could. The team worked so hard. Over the course of their season they have had 86 saves , 50 shots, 8 assists, and 16 goals. The team plans to work harder and practice more so they can win every game next year.

The Denver Broncos defeated the Tennessee Titans 51-28 , making the Broncos record 11-2. The game started as a nail biter as the Titans were up 21-20 Seconds before the first half ended Matt Prater kicked a 64 yard field goal , making NFL history! The Broncos came out fierce in third quarter taking the lead right away with two back to back touchdowns.

Head Coach John Fox, just recently had surgery on his heart and returned just in time for this win! He is currently still taking it easy on the sidelines, but both the players and fans are glad to see him back and doing well.

Golden's very own student council ran the 2nd dance of the year, the Flashback Arcade dance. Having been the second annual Black Light Dance, students aren't quite used to it yet. Student Council decided to give students a chance to have fun and dance the night away before finals week. The DJ was awesome and the kids that went said that they had a blast. There was even a photo booth, where you could dress up with many different props and take photos with your friends.

Nina Paris(12) and Sarah it Tasci(12) created the Spanish club because there is no level above Spanish four In Spanish Club they eat , play games , speak some Spanish , and meet new friends.

Some people would think that it would be bad to go to school with a sibling , well try being 1n the same grade as them and looking almost the same. Sirinity Sandoval (12) enjoys the challenges of AP Statistics She plans on using this class for her future education opportunities in college

11 1 love teaching music I couldn't imagine doing anything else at this point in my life Its a lot of fun to meet all the different students who participate in music at this school, from orchestra to rock band it takes all types! I enjoy watching students progress over the years , its amazing to watch someone grow musically as time goes on We are getting bigger every year and I hope soon that we will be able to have five full sized performing groups "

Something very cool about Golden is that we have a ton of different art classes to choose from One of those classes is Jewlery , and GHS is one of the only high schools in Colorado who offers th is class . It's really fun and gives students a whole new outlook on art in everyday life

We have been friends longer than we can even remember

We have been causing trouble since we met .

Pepper is the Black Lab , she 's eleven years old and a rescue dog Lilly is the Yellow Lab and has helped Pepper regain her youth. "They are my hiking buddies and ' Lion bait '" said Ms . Onago .

"Emma is a Dachshund and is nine years old. She is the best dog ever, she is like my baby. She thinks she is a little princess" says Liz Kindler ( 12).

Some people prefer a dog or a cat as a pet , but not Samantha Joyce ( 12) , she prefers a gorilla

"Mr. Robinson is one of a kind. He not only is a part of my family , but also a part of my soul. He is my brothe r, from another mother" said Samantha .

The students enrolled in Senior Seminar took a trip to go experience San Diego . "I have looked forward to the memories we will create together as a group. All of the jokes and laughter, the long bus rides getting to know each other, and the lessons we will take from Sem and use in our daily lives."
