The Hive Online Training

The Hive, the Library’s makerspace, features specialized equipment and software to help inspire learning, creativity, and creation. Training is required before a patron may use some of the equipment. The Hive staff have created online training modules to help patrons new to The Hive learn the equipment, and to help those who haven’t visited in a while to refresh their knowledge.

Visit library.cityoflewisville.com/TheHive for details and to take the online training.

Youth Programs

Weekly Storytime Classes

Ages 0-6

Join us as we reinforce pre-reading skills through age-appropriate early literacy classes that include stories, rhymes, songs, and fingerplays. Stop by the library for a full schedule of classes.

Parent or caregiver must attend and participate with children during all classes.

Space is limited, and a free ticket is required to attend. Tickets are distributed on a first come, first-served basis 30 minutes before the class start time at the Children’s Desk.

Age guidelines are enforced for corresponding classes. Older and younger siblings can attend with a child who is of the appropriate age for the class.

Classes are held in the Bennett Program Room unless otherwise noted.
