In this relaxed session we will work together to recreate an artwork using digital techniques. Face Dementia is a research project and public awareness campaign that aims to increase public knowledge about the variety of symptoms associated with dementia and provide advice on how to navigate personal and health care environments to achieve a diagnosis and access support. Dr Lisa Dunbar Solas is an archaeologist and artist based in Adelaide. Throughout her career, she has explored Andean myth, ceremony and religion, conducting fieldwork in Peru.

During this one-hour talk, Lisa recounts stories from her fieldwork in Peru, offering audiences a unique glimpse into the enigmatic ancient culture of the Incas. Following her presentation, there will be a Q&A session.

Meet the Author - Rita Bogna "Under Siege"

Rita Bogna is a retired lawyer who drafted legislation for State Parliament for more than 35 years. She has a life-long passion for history, especially South Australian history, and will join us to discuss her latest book Under Siege: The Spanish Flu in South Australia 1919-1920.

A novel influenza virus appeared in 1918 and caused a pandemic that is still the deadliest global epidemic of infectious disease in human history. It caused at least 50 million, and possibly as many as 100 million, deaths worldwide. Books available for purchase and signing - cash only ($39).

Meet the Author - Lyn Betelli "Bilbs the Bilby"

Meet writer and illustrator Lyn Betelli as she introduces this story of the greater bilby, a marsupial native to Australia.

Bilbs the Bilby and his friends at Arid Recovery will take you on a journey learning all about bilbies and why their ears are so long!

There will also be a colouring competition with entry forms available at the library and also Campbells Newsagents at the Hallett Cove Shopping Centre. Winners will be announced on the day.

Suitable for primary school children.

This event will include a reading of the book and copies will be available for purchase and signing. Profits from the sale of this book support the important work done of Arid Recovery at Roxby Downs.

Compete in Your First Augmented Reality Sport Tournament: HADO

Lob energy balls, throw up shields and outlast your opponents in this augmented reality team sport where players wear a head-mounted display and armband sensors to wield energy balls and shields on a real court.

Please note, HADO is a tactical sport played on a dodgeball-style court while wearing a headset. To participate, players need to be 11+.
