Join author Fay Lee as she discusses her thrilling new science fiction novel, Empathy. Set in the near future where the ultra-rich have abandoned Earth and cruise a network of decadent Sky Towns, Empathy follows an unnamed sex worker with amnesia, as she tries to track down the men who kidnapped her. Likened to Margaret Atwood’s classic A Handmaid’s Tale, Empathy is a fascinating exploration of power, politics and ownership. A fast-paced thriller where empathy is a service, a luxury and a corruption.

When Jan was ten months old, a mosquito bite left her disabled. Jan’s memoir guides you through her experience of childhood, schooling, hospitalisation, working, travelling, marriage and family life.
