Beat the summer heat at Alligator’s Creek! O’Fallon’s premier outdoor pool is your summer oasis! Dive into the crystal-clear waters, splash around with friends and cool off with a float down our lazy river. When the temps start rising, there’s no better place to be than Alligator’s Creek! This year, your favorite events are returning to the pool, like Mermaids and Mates, Battleship Boat Challenge and our famous Cardboard Boat Races. Don’t miss a single moment of fun at the pool—grab a season pass for your family and enjoy Alligator’s Creek all summer long. Turn to page 12 to learn more.

O’FallonTheatreWorks takes center stage this summer The classic board game comes to life in this charming musical production, as O’FallonTheatreWorks presents Clue The Musical. Each performance is different, as a hard-nosed detective invites the audience to help solve the mystery of who killed Mr. Boddy, in what room, and with what weapon. Learn more about this funfilled crowd-pleaser on page 34, and make plans to enjoy a showing (or two!) of this unforgettable show beginning July 23.

Take part in mad science experiments, messy art projects and more! Turn to pages 24-27.

Youth Soccer Youth Soccer League • Recreation Kids love our exciting eight-game leagues which focus on soccer skills, rules and fun! Leagues fill quickly, so register early! Games are played at Sports Park on Saturdays between 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Parents, we need volunteer coaches! Parent coaches are eligible to have one child’s registration fee reduced to $25 if slots are available. An additional $12 fee will be charged for registration beginning on July 3, and registration ends Friday, July 16, or whenever the program fills. Eligibility is based on a child’s age as of January 1, 2021. The coach’s meeting will be held August 21 at 8 a.m. for U4-U7 coaches and 9:30 a.m. for U8-U12 coaches. Sorry, we do not accept team/player requests from parents, only roster requests from coaches. Please note that roster requests do not register a child for the program and do not guarantee a child a spot in the program. Practices are not a part of the fee you pay, so refunds or team changes will not be made to accommodate practice schedules. Leagues for U11 and U12 may play 9v9 depending on registration. Leagues U8 and older will not be awarded participation medals. Divisions are split between age and gender, but may be combined based on registration.

Cultural Arts Art Exhibitions Anna Riley Medium: Oil painting Through August 1 at the Renaud Center Anna Riley is an eight-year-old artist from University City, Missouri. Part of her homeschool curriculum involves weekly art lessons with her art teacher, Sarah Tichacek. Anna and Sara have explored oil painting, drawing and mixed-media arts together. Anna is also studying violin and ballet, and loves to draw in her spare time.

Rich Brooks Medium: Painting Through August 30 at City Hall Rich Brooks can look back at a life filled with artistic endeavors, beginning at the age of 4 when he determined he was going to be an artist. Today, he continues to produce world-class art on a full-time basis, along with teaching and mentoring art to students of all abilities. He helped create the Foundry Arts Center in St. Charles and was a founding member of the Mosaics Fine Art Festival. Now, we’re proud to bring a selection of his art to City Hall, showcasing his mastery of a wide number of styles and disciplines.

O’FallonTheatreWorks presents Clue the Musical Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 23-25 and July 30-August 1 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays; 2 p.m. matinees on Sunday Clue The Musical brings the popular game to the stage as a funfilled musical that invites the audience to help solve the mystery of who killed Mr. Boddy, in what room, and with what weapon. The audience receives forms to help them deduce the solution from clues given throughout the fun-filled evening. Three audience members will choose from cards representing the potential murderers, weapons, and rooms; there are 216 possible solutions! Only one hard-nosed detective is qualified to unravel the merry mayhem. Comic antics, witty lyrics, and a beguiling score carry the investigation from room to room, and even after the culprit confesses, a surprise twist delights the audience. This colorful crowd-pleaser was devised by the authors of Murder at Rutherford House and other popular interactive shows! O’FallonTheatreWorks tickets can be purchased online at www.ofallon.mo.us, in person at the Renaud Center or at the box office one hour before each show. • $12 general admission • $10 seniors (ages 55+), children and students (ages 6-17) • $5 children (ages 2-5) • No charge for children under age 2 (and held on lap) • Discount rate for groups of 10 or more • $2 additional charge at the box office, which opens an hour before each show.
