Aquatic Personal Training Packages
All session are 45 minutes. The viscosity of the water provides an excellent source of resistance when incorporated into an Aquatic Personal Training Program. This resistance allows for muscle strengthening without the need of weights. This program is especially useful for those with arthritis, healing fractured bones, or who are overweight.

Bianca Hoppe has a professional background in the medical field and is a certified BCRPA Group Fitness, Aquatic Fitness, Third Age, Weight Training, Spin and Pilates instructor. She is also a certified Personal Trainer on land and in water. Bianca is fascinated by the human body and all its capabilities and the science that always discovers new and improved workouts to either get people in better shape, helps them to recover from injuries or improve their everyday mobility.
Gerrimae has had a lifelong passion for movement, food, and people. She was the owner of Thrive Fitness, went back to school to pursue an education in nutrition, became a certified indoor rowing instructor then opened My Element Health and Fitness. For 15 years she shared her knowledge and energy, empowering women to move and thrive. She has broadened her knowledge base greatly by becoming a nutrition coach to allow her a wider approach to her personal training. Her clients benefit not only from excellent coaching but from her lifelong nurturing of people in her care.
Gail Westgate theory, weight training and personal training for over a decade. Gail has focused on helping people achieve positive health and fitness changes that support their day to day life. She has learned from personal experience how to overcome fears and blocks and develop new skills that promote well being and accomplishment. Gail is especially adept at engaging with clients to realize important life style challenges and integrate new strengths and interest to their day to day life. Her good humour and positive attitude have inspired many people to make long lasting changes and gain confidence in their abilities.
Kimberley Gage is a BCRPA Personal and Older Adult Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor and Yoga Teacher. A cheerleader at heart, she is passionate about helping clients meet their health, fitness and mobility goals, regardless of their ability. Kimberley employs a variety of strength and mobility techniques to increase mindbody awareness and improve function.
Roché Rossouw is a BCRPA personal trainer, group fitness instructor and health coach. She is certified in Older Adult, Steady Feet , and Precision Nutrition Level 2, and enjoys teaching people to use the best technique possible when they exercise. “I believe everybody who is able to move, can start somewhere and get stronger if they use good exercise technique, consistently show up to train and try to have fun in the process."

The Hearts in Motion Walking Group is designed to encourage people to participate in regular physical activity by walking. Walking is a great way to boost health and energy and it's easily incorporated into any lifestyle. You can reduce risk factors such as stress, blood pressure, blood cholesterol, and body fat by incorporating thirty minutes of physical activity most days of the week. Through a blended learning of online tutorials plus hands-on training and practice, this 8-hour basic first aid course will give you the confidence to respond to respiration and circulation emergencies, including asthma, allergic reactions, heart attack, stroke and bleeding. Must complete online portion prior to classroom session. Certification valid for 3 years.

ASSISTANT LIFEGUARD
This course begins the transition from lifesaving to lifeguarding and prepares candidates for responsibilities as Assistant Lifeguards. Candidates build on the skills they learned in the Medallion.
Lifesaving skills will be strengthened and expanded as they begin to apply the principles and techniques of active surveillance in aquatic facilities. * Bronze Cross emphasizes the importance of teamwork and communication in preventing and responding to aquatic emergencies. This course is required for National Lifeguard training.

The National Lifeguard (NL) Pool certification develops the fundamental values, judgment, knowledge, skills and fitness required by lifeguards to provide effective safety supervision in swimming pool environments. Endurance standard is a 400 metre swim within 10 minutes. Candidates must attend ALL sessions.
Prerequisite: Bronze Cross, minimum 15 years of age, Standard First Aid from recognized agency (Lifesaving Society, Canadian Red Cross, St. John Ambulance, Canadian Ski Patrol, Heart and Stroke Foundation).
Dates & Time: January 31 - February 22.

Rec skate is a 4 class set of beginner skate lessons that is intended to be a feeder program to both minor hockey and the Can Skate program. Helmets and skates will be made available. This program is specifically geared towards children who have no experience skating and need assistance with learning the FUNdamentals. If your child is already registered in minor hockey or Can Skate, then they will be too advanced for this class.

Spring 3 on 3 Hockey
The Spring Hockey League will run for 7 weeks and take place 1 evening a week running from the week of April 7nd until the week of May 19th. Registration Fee includes all 7 sessions along with a league jersey and wrap up play on the final week. League Organizer will take the registrations and break them down into equal teams prior to the season starting.
