Solano County’s first large-scale COVID-19 vaccination clinic will be held 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday February 5th and Saturday February 6th in Vallejo, thanks to a partnership between Solano County Public Health, Kaiser Permanente, NorthBay Healthcare, Sutter-Solano Medical Center, Partnership HealthPlan of California, Medic Ambulance and Touro University California. Solano County Public Health is providing the vaccine and will schedule appointments for community members; and the partner organizations are providing staff to administer vaccinations and manage logistics. Vaccinations are available by appointment only for 3,500 Solano County residents who meet the eligibility requirements. This currently includes health care workers, first responders, and Solano County residents over the age of 75. Vaccination appointments are open to all those who are in an eligible tier, regardless of where they receive medical care. Vaccinations will be provided in Exposition Hall on the Solano County Fairgrounds in Vallejo. Those who fall into an eligible tier may make an appointment for the Friday clinic online at bit.ly/sccovax1 and the Saturday clinic at bit.ly/sccovax2. Those without access to the internet may call 707-784-8655 for registration assistance. Due to limited space, access to the facility will be for individuals being vaccinated (exceptions will be considered on a case by case basis). Solano County Public Health encourages all Solano County residents who want to receive a vaccine to register on the COVID-19 Vaccine Interest Form, located at www.SolanoCounty.com/COVIDVaccine. This form is used to pre-screen eligible individuals and contact them for vaccination clinics when they become eligible. The web page also includes more information on the vaccine distribution phases, future vaccine events, frequently asked questions, and a list of where eligible individuals can get vaccinated. For the most recent local COVID-19 health information visit www.SolanoCounty.com/COVID19 and follow Solano Public Health on social media.
