The Westerville Community Center is a great outlet to release energy and reinvigorate on gloomy, wintry days in a comfortable, local environment. Check out some of the benefits offered with a Community Center pass:
☑ ACCESS TO THE INDOOR POOL COMPLEX
Complete with lap lanes, a hot tub (16 and up), a warm water area and racing slides, the indoor pool complex is sure to bring the summer warmth, even on the coldest days. Relax with ease by safely storing your items in one of the many available lockers, on-site.
☑ TWO-STORY FITNESS ROOM AND TRACK
With more than 13,000 square feet of space, the fitness room and track is the perfect spot for any workout. Furnished with benches, dumbbells, two Smith racks, Hammer Strength equipment and so much more. There’s something for everyone of any exercise level to enjoy.
☑ TWO GYMNASIUMS The gymnasium at the
Community Center offers a space for all ages to play a pick-up game of basketball, a match of volleyball or enjoy open play. It can be set up in a variety of configurations, consisting of regulationsized basketball courts, smaller basketball courts or a regulation-size volleyball court.
☑ CLIMBING WALL Whether you’re a first
time climber or experienced in the sport, the Community Center rock climbing wall is designed for all skill levels. As the only indoor public rock climbing wall in Westerville, it’s bound to fulfill your real-rock fix.
☑ eSPORTS A unique offering complete with
top-notch equipment for everything needed for your gaming experience. Leagues and open play programs area available.
☑ ADVENTURE FITNESS COURSE The area,
which includes a climbing net, swing ladder, rings and other interchangeable elements, is available for open play, classes and events and is a fun way to engage in physical activity and boost confidence and focus while participating in friendly competition for ages 10 and up.
The Community Center offers many classes to suit you and your family. Classes include fitness and wellness, sports, adaptive and inclusive and age-appropriate learning. Registration is scheduled six times a year. Information can be found in the bi-monthly Westerville Community Guide mailed to residents and available at www.westerville.org/communityguide. Whether you are taking a class or enjoying the benefits of a Community Center pass, the kiddos will be taken care of in the Childcare Room for ages six months to nine years. Your child’s safety is our number one priority with numbered wristbands, security cameras, sanitized toys and a parent-only sign in/out policy. The Center also provides the best location for your next party. Birthday party packages are offered with access to all of the Center’s amenities.
