2016 臺北世界設計之都，為強化國際設計社

群的參與，以及擴展國際行銷宣傳效益，發揮 Adaptive City與社會設計的精神，臺北市徵

求了6件國際團隊以及在地團隊共同合作提

案，針對臺北各項城市議題提出具創新與可 行性之設計，讓「社會設計」真正落實於實踐

的過程中，也希望透過國際合作案例，進一步 帶動市民參與，打造臺北成為「社會設計」導 入城市建設的典範城市。

International Open Call International Open Call program a highlight in World Design Capital Taipei 2016 year-long calendar of public and industry design events. World Design Capital® (WDC) Taipei 2016’s Open Call initiative will see innovative international organizations and groups like CONTINUUM(USA, Italy, Korea, and China), the United Nations University (Germany), and the British Council join forces with Taiwan-based counterparts.

Together, the Open Call teams will bring a multitude of carefully researched social design interventions to Taipei residents during the WDC Taipei year–from playgrounds built of junk to inner city recycling vending machines, traditional food re-design to experimental lunch schemes.

「 他知道他吃的東西是什麼嗎?食材的來源?

我們希望從這樣的想法開始改變，喚起本身對 食 安 就 有 的 一 些 意 識。比 起 對 健 康 食 物 的 重

視，我 們 更 期 待 他 先 獲 得 他 在 吃 的 一 個 安 心， 你 可 以 慢 慢 的 吃、好 好 的 吃，重 新 把 你 吃 飯 的 節奏找回來 。」

藉由2016臺北世界設計之都的機會，Continuum與IxDA Taiwan合作了「Taste of safety, Taste

of Home-食在安心，家的味道」企劃案，從現代

人最重視的食品安全及生態永續議題切入，對 臺北年輕上班族群和每日為家人把控飲食的

媽媽進行了深度的使用者研究，嘗試探究其飲

透過用戶畫像、用戶旅程圖等工具，將研究資 料進行了分析，再將洞察轉化為觀點，進而為

臺北上班族建構出一個真正體現「食在安心」 的健康飲食供需系統。

“ Do they know what they are eating? Where does the food come from? We want to start, raising the awareness after they have some basic information of the food problem.So that people can really see this problem seriously.

We expect that people can feel safe about what they eat. You can eat slowly, eat well, and develop a healthier eating habit. “

In fact, 68% of Taiwanese people eat out for more than 2 meals per day. This means even though citizens could control the taste and cost of their food, they have virtually no control over the ingredients, processing, and safety of their food. Taipei’s young workers may be aware of food safety issues, but because of their long working hours and limited budget, they have a habit of eating quick and unhealthy meals.

Each story has an ending, but each ending means that a new start will begin. The story can be about people to people, and people to objects. Objects which people had used then turned out wastes are also called “misplaced resources. ” Many of us have been trying to establish industrial ecology by recovering, repairing, reusing or sharing to reduce the demands for natural resources, so that the cycling system of biosphere can go on. After carrying out the policy of “Keep Trash Off the Ground” in 1996, Taipei nowadays has a remarkable recycling rate up to 56.4%. What are we going to picture the future of Taipei? “ We think these communities exist, because there are certain social issues in Taiwan right now. And that’s why they present themselves the way they are. Besides individual health issues, the aging society will affect various areas of our lives, including mass transportation, public facilities, resident design, health insurance, and economic welfare policies, etc. ” We focused on the topics "Health Enhancement, "Health Management" and "Health Care" in aging cities and provided product design, spatial design, and service design to propose a comprehensive and sustainable plan to build a "next generation friendly aging city." 「 其 實 這 次 食 物 計 畫 我 們 有 非 常 多 的 面 向，那 第 一 個 面 向 是 我 們 希 望，大 家 可 以 重 新 看 待 我

們已經很熟悉的小吃，第二個面向，我們希望大家看到食物的浪費，第三呢，我們想要探討的是 一些未來，我們主要想要探討這些不同的面相，然後讓大家注意到，其實吃不是只有我們現在

在吃的這個東西，背後有一個很長很大的系統，我們想要民眾看到的是超越他盤子裡的食物， 而是看到它背後的一些故事也好事件也好、數據也好。」

「食物計畫」借由食物在當代生活中扮演的重要性，以設計的論點，未曾打開的視野，去誘發觀 者重新改寫對食物的認知以及嶄新的體悟v v 讓我們一起重新看待「吃」這回事。以「食物說」探

討全球糧食的議題、飲食背後的責任，以及食物未來趨勢。藉由不同觀點的飲食文化碰撞而激

盪出的「小吃進化論」 ，重新堆砌小吃未來的無限可能。透過「便當大改造」 ，訴求均衡健康的飲 食，以及反剩食的飲食新觀念。

cover many aspects in The Food Project, and the first thing we want to focus on is the Taiwanese local food that we are all very familiar with. The second thing is the food waste. Third thing is about the future of these local food. We want to mention these different aspects, nd make people realize that the food in our life is more than the moment of we eating it. There is this huge and long-established system. We want the people to see beyond the food in their plates, uch as the stories,the history or the statistics behind the food itself. ” Through the importance of food in modern life and using a design perspective, we will open up a horizon never explored before, enticing the viewers to redefine their knowledge of food and gain brand new realizations. ”

The Food Project explores global food issues, responsibilities behind the way we eat as well as the future of food through Edible Tales exhibition. Street Food Evolution re-establishes unlimited future possibilities of street food by blending in various food cultures, while Big Bento Redo is trying to convey the concept of healthy balanced diet and anti-food-waste.

「 現在越來越多都是塑膠遊具，越來越少年 輕人去公園了，那邊沒有屬於我的一塊地，能

在這個地方做些什麼事情，是我們這個計畫 最主要的核心目標。」

公共空間之於城市，到底是一個什麼樣的存 在？現有的公園空地，能否滿足在地使用者

的需求？我們相信都會公園所需要的運動、遊

憩、教育、接觸自然的場所，還有更多元的樣 態與可能性。

What kind of role do public spaces play in modern cities? Do parks and open spaces meet the needs of local residents? We believe that metropolitan parks are places for sports, leisure, education and nature. In fact, parks have multiple faces and various possibilities.
