Editorial I believe that we all listened to the speech from President Elect Donald J. Trump, more than once, since the expectations to know more about the policies of his government had been growing throughout his campaign. Nevertheless, I think that even though his speech was somehow similar to other president’s speeches, a few things were mentioned that were never brought up before so blatantly and which I felt had an impact on the audience. Especially when he touched on reinforcing old alliances and building new ones “in order to unite the civilized world against radical Islamic terrorism and get rid of it from the face of the earth”. This is something that without a doubt, Americans, as well as, the rest of the world have wished for and will turn into a great challenge for our country.

Yo creo que todos escuchamos el discurso del Presidente electo Donald J. Trump más de una vez, ya que las expectativas de conocer cómo sería su política de gobierno, eran muy grandes. Sin embargo, creo que, aunque fue un discurso muy parecido a los discursos de presidentes anteriores, se mencionaron algunos temas, que nunca antes se habían citado tan directamente como en este discurso y que sentí que hizo más impacto en el público. Sobre todo, cuando se refirió a reforzar las antiguas alianzas y formar nuevas, “para unir al mundo civilizado contra el terrorismo islámico radical, y erradicarlo de la faz de la tierra”. However, we have to keep an eye on those seven letters written by former President Barack Obama on January 13th, 2017, to the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the President of the Senate and the text of seven notices on the Continuation of National Emergencies with Respect to Iran, Cuba, Libya, Zimbabwe, Venezuela, Ukraine, and Terrorists Who Threaten to Disrupt the Middle East Peace Process. There is still a homework to do.

Al decir al final de su discurso, que no debe haber miedo – que estamos protegidos, y siempre estaremos protegidos por los grandes hombres y mujeres de nuestras fuerzas armadas y fuerzas del orden y, lo que es más importante, que estamos protegidos por Dios. When he says that his policy will be of total loyalty to the United States of America “since it is through to loyalty for our country that we will re-discover the loyalty we have for one another”. In order to start getting used to the anti-politics speeches of our new President, I think we will hear him say to politicians that the time for talk is over, and to start doing more, as he said in his inaugural delivery. Trump, the 45th President of the United States arrived at the white house this past January 20th amidst protests and marches of those who oppose him and criticize the measures he will take during his time in office. These protests were violent, obstructing public roads and causing damage to private property. We ask ourselves. Who is behind all of this? On the other hand , the women’s march of last Saturday which by the way, I did not understand how and why some celebrities gave offensive speeches with very harsh words like Madonna among others: I think Hollywood

I know how to do it, I really do! starts has lost its ‘glamour’ by stateting its disagreement with an individual using such raw arguments. This may have happened by refusing to accept the results of the past election. We have seen that many of these incidents and protests throughout the country have taken place weeks before the triumph of Donald Trump which in turn resulted in the protestors taking to the streets in groups represented by women, Muslims, Immigrants and ethnic minorities. It is possible that same events will continue to occur around the country. Violence should not be tolerated under any circumstance. It

is inexplicable how those who say they defend peace and minorities, protesting the political status quo and generating chaos. We have a different President with no political experience and who is not a politician, only a successful businessman. On whose untethered speech delivers all promises and offers, thus tricking not only the country but also him or betraying the trust of all his followers. Trump is known as a businessman, a CEO of his companies. We are used to listening to government officials who tell us what we want to hear without delivering what they promise. Perhaps we are starting to live in a different era, The Trump’s Era: we don’t like what he says but we like what he does.

But his success to reach the presidency, according to experts was based in identifying the strategy to get the acceptance of Americans. That which convinced the vast majority they were voting for the winner. Like digital marketing, Trump brought in the best copywriter. The content of his speeches little, political content and very abstract, knew to use the key words which appealed to the “buy-in” of listeners. Phrases such as “the highest number of stolen jobs in the world” “Only I can fix this”, “I know how to do it, I really know how to do it”, “we will make it great again”, “Jobs for Americans, American products” among others. What is the secret of his success? Many of us ask ourselves how is it that there are certain people in the world who reach unlimited success. Public Relations, Consultants, and experts have offered their advice and steps to follow but in the end, he does it in his way. In a place where Capitalism is the king, where company principles and the development of the wellbeing is viable: such as free competition, productivity and quality of life. I think man has greater possibilities of choosing to be great or small, or happy because there are no restrictions, no limit to the opportunities. So let us see what happens behind this strange scenario before us, where anything can happen just like self motivating coach say “the sky is the limit”, “let’s think big”, “yes, you can”, “you are unique and capable”. Donald Trump continues to have the keys to his popularity in his hands. Regardless of what is said about him in the social Media and Media in general. The man named as “The man of the year 2016” by one of the most prestigious magazines is now the 45th President of the United States!

Entonces, veamos que ocurre detrás de este extraño escenario que se nos presenta, donde pueden ocurrir cosas, como dicen nuestros coaches de autoayuda: ‘el cielo es el límite’, ‘pensemos en grande’, ‘tú puedes’, ‘eres único y capaz”. he second part of the second century AD saw the death of one of the most revered emperors of Rome, Marcus Aurelius. His son, Commodus who inherited the throne, set out to win the hearts of the people immediately. He did that by implementing 100 days of games. Yes! games! 100 days of games in the Coliseum. Of course, back in those days, the games were not as amusing as we may think. In fact, they were horrendous by today’s standards. But it was a measure of gauging the new Emperor’s performance.

Nevertheless, It gives pause to think about the way we elect for the highest office. Clinton gets more votes and she loses. Don’t they say numbers don’t lie?. Maybe sometimes they do. For the time being, our flamboyant friend gets to play President while we will dance in the balance of a job well done or a mess riddled with such consequences that the wars of Rome in the old days will only be an appetizer for what may come next.

If they were entertaining ( meaning many heads actually rolled) then the Emperor was doing a good job. Less rolls of heads, not so good. In any event, He got the benefit of the doubt and the blessing of a honeymoon period. I suggest we grant our new President that favor. He is off to a rocky start as it is. Only a few of his nominees have been confirmed, he has caused a big stir in the international community ( phone call to Taiwan, the move of our embassy to Jerusalem, NATO obsolete, etc), the exchange of words with Hollywood celebrities and a poorly attended inauguration ball. That is a lot to handle in just a few days but Trump has played it cool. Almost

El punto es que nuestro Presidente se merece un tiempo para ajustarse al nuevo puesto. Algo así como sentirse bien. Es lo menos que podemos hacer. Después de todo, el ganó con los 270 votos electorales requeridos para la Presidencia y como ese era el sistema reinante al momento, él toma la silla. Sin embargo, le da a uno algo qué pensar acerca de cómo elegimos a la persona para el puesto más alto de la nación. Clinton saca más votos y ella pierde. ¿Acaso no dicen que los números no mienten? Quizás algunas veces sí. The taxpayer may not really consider the account to be his or hers; nevertheless, it falls under the reporting requirement if he or she has signature or other authority over the account and its value exceeds $10,000.

f you’re like most taxpayers, you find yourself with an ominous stack of “homework” around TAX TIME! Pulling together the records for your tax appointment is never easy, but the effort usually pays off in the extra tax you save! When you arrive at your appointment fully prepared, you’ll have more time to: Consider every possible legal deduction; Evaluate which income reporting and deductions are best suited to your situation; Explore current law changes that affect your tax status; Talk about taxplanning alternatives that could reduce your future tax liability.

Inherited Accounts - Accounts in a foreign country and inherited accounts fall under the FBAR reporting requirement, even if the funds are subsequently transferred to the U.S. The FBAR rules state that reporting is required if at any time during the year the foreign account exceeds $10,000. Business Accounts - A corporate officer or Board member may have signature authority over a business account in a foreign country and may overlook the need to meet the FBAR reporting requirements.

ongresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D, FL) took the oath of office for her 7 th term in the United States House of Representatives on Wednesday, January 18th. Wasserman Schultz represents Florida’s 23rd congressional district which covers parts of Broward and Palm Beach Counties. The ceremony, took place at the Federal Courthouse in Fort Lauderdale. The Master and welcoming ceremony in charge was Mayor of Broward County Barbara Sharief. Followed by Walker Elementary School Choir, Ft Lauderdale with a Musical Performance. The National Anthem was masterfully sung by Emily Kaufman; and the Benediction by Reverend Joe Johnson, Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church.

Lo que hace un CopyWriter tiene que ver con uno de los mejores trabajos en el área de marketing, son como el lado divertido del asunto, porque no solamente crean las ideas, sino que a nivel completo pueden ser quiénes estén detrás de las piezas publicitarias y en este punto es importante mencionar que un buen Copy escribe para que visualmente una idea también sea posible. Así que para lograrlo aprovecha al máximo las herramientas que la web te ofrece, mantén una estrecha relación con los demás creativos de tu área, así podrás saber con qué talento humano cuentas para desarrollar tus copyWRITE y no olvides pensar principalmente en tú público objetivo, el consumidor es EL JEFE. Periodontal Disease in Dogs ore than 85% of dogs over 4 years of age have periodontal disease. This is a progressive inflammation of the supporting structures around the teeth, and it is diagnosed by examining the teeth and supporting structures while the pet is under anesthesia.

Some of the signs of periodontal disease are bad breath, redness or bleeding along the gum line, pawing at the mouth , facial swelling, especially under the eyes; nasal discharge; gum recession; difficulty chewing, drooling, and loose or missing teeth, which may result on Gingivitis (inflammation of the gums), that it can be reversed with a thorough dental cleaning and polishing. However, the loss of tooth attachment, or bone loss, cannot be reversed.

Your veterinarian can see signs of gingivitis and tartar buildup by examining your dog’s mouth. Ask your veterinarian what dental diet or treats and hygiene methods are recommended for your dog, and don’t forget to keep scheduled appointments for followup dental checkups. Raysa Prosperi , has an insatiable creativity to develop extraordinary works of art. Her pieces are decorative and utilitarian, made out of decommissioned airplanes that crossed the skies for many years, like very powerful steel birds.

Her passion for airplanes begun since she was little and somehow stimulated by her father. There it begun an attraction turned into art and creation.

Kylla Monica Piqueras Bertier, is not only an artist…. She is more a kind of a Virgin in transit in this world… born from the ancient Pre-Inca cultures…. Chosen to plant a seed of love and reflection in this devaluated Human Universe. I am not an art critic, that is why I am going to write about Kylla, but not particularly about her work. She is perhaps, one of the most interesting participants in the Art concept of one of the most important art fairs in the world that took place here in Miami Art Basel 2016. I was lucky enough, or maybe the universal destiny set us both up to

meet and not by coincidence - from Kylla’s perspective of course- and share with her some days and sunrises, long conversations, nice discussions….and moments of silence. My attention to her corporal expressions, wording and talk about the meaning of her art, it was totally captured. The intellect and feeling produced an explosion of internal conflicts - never ending inspirations, small depressions. Absolute spirituality that overwhelms and anguish but at the end, like an oasis is the reward of a weird peace filled with sweetness. Contemplating her work causes an immediate confrontation with your own universe. You can get lost and not return

Raysa’s talent is plain in her work from a coffee table supported by a wheel of a plane model DC9 - DC Main Coffee Table - to a little food cart - Trolley Cart Airplane - turned into an exclusive mini bar for domestic use.

To listen to her speak about her work is a pleasure. She is a woman in love with her work. She tells of her knowledge of the very complex world of aviation. I might surprise you when I tell you about a story of a classic airplane out of circulation.

Her work is made of original pieces, restored and very carefully finished with several techniques that she uses in her shop. Her work demands technical knowledge. Raysa becomes a welder, cutter, metal polisher of heavy airplane metal pieces. But in essence she is an artist who uses her wonderful creativity into incredible pieces full of life, while maintaining an esthetic discipline and millimetric precision in each one of them.

Her sculptures, tables, desks and chairs take on a real sense once they are complete. To see them and touch them causes an effect that is truly exciting. You can feel and almost elevate yourself when contemplating any of her pieces, because the most important thing about her work is that every piece is original, thus leading to the perfect harmony between what it was when it was an airplane and what it is now that she has turned it into by her own hands. The piece is then suspended in time and takes a space of its own among us.

Her designs are elegant, sober and imposing. Metallic objects mixed with glass, and as much as, any other airplane parts available represents to Raysa an inspiring element for her work.

Kylla Monica Piqueras Bertie is part of this world of concepts, shapes and color. She is a genuine woman because if something is clear, and her work is witness, is that her work is about femininity, where the power of nature, cosmos, religion, magic, light, darkness, provokes a sublime cry for freedom, as a tribute to all women and their worth in this society which is in turn her inspiration and reason for everything she does.

There were smiles and tears, too. A lot of anguish and peace. That much is the diversity of this unbelievable creator, a whirlwind of intense passions. A true Discovery in Art Basel 2016. Her work goes beyond the mere commercial gain. Having a piece of Kylla Monica Bertie is to have a piece of her. Undoubtedly a small piece of that ancient and imposing Inca culture. I invite you to know this Peruvian woman who arrived at Miami, turning into a kind of virgin, led by the hand of Inca shamans, born in another life in the very own Cuenca del Cuzco. Paying homage to the Inca empire that lasted only a century but had a grandiose that keeps it alive in this universe, and deserving of admiration expressed through the work of KYLLA MONICA PIQUERA BERTIE. I ask myself what would be of this world ….. without the light shined by Kylla.
