Hello Dearest CCNY Circle K! First off, I would like to say how proud I am of all of you! It pleases me to know that the club continues to grow because you all have this passion to get to know one another. A refreshing feeling given our commuter school. It makes me happy to know that CCNY is benefitting from such a charismatic, and welcoming group of people. Honestly, that gives me so much hope in my role as Liberty LTG. I look at what you all accomplish, and it makes me want to work hard for you as well. I hope you all enjoy the rest of the newsletter! Continue being your awesome selves! Much love, Odalis Gutierrez

MESSAGE FROM PRESIDENTS
As the club year is winding down, our club’s spirit only grows stronger. We still have two more months of awesomeness and our last district event of the club year, DCON, to look forward too. This service year has been the most rewarding for me, especially seeing our club members taking initiative and growing as leaders. I am very grateful for having been your president and I hope that the upcoming year will be one of even more growth and prosperity. Yours in Charity, Tayba Aziz
I have learned over the course of my life that everyone, to a certain extent, has the power to help someone. Particularly during my year as president, I have had the honor to see the impact club members have had on the communities we have collaborated with. Thus, I want to encourage you to reflect on your experience and use that knowledge as stamina to support the next person you see struggling. It is so easy to get lost in our day to day routine of life, but by taking action and making a difference, you are giving someone a chance to heal and grow – and that is a beautiful gift. Yours in Service and Leadership, Viktoriya Borisova
MESSAGE FROM GRADUATES
KRISTIAN MOSQUITO
Dear CCNY Circle K, I joined our club four and a half years ago out of courtesy, thinking it wouldn’t be right for me. How wrong I was. These years have produced some of the best memories of my life and have changed me for the better. I’ve become kinder, more confident, and more genuine. All the while I’ve made an amazing set of friends whose support I know I’ll have for the rest of my life. Most of all, I’m honored to know that I’ve made a difference and inspired many of you to become leaders in your own right. As I leave CCNY, I leave you one piece of advice: be impassioned. Be impassioned with your major and your career path. Be impassioned in the bonds with all your friends and family. Be impassioned to change the world. Most of all, be impassioned for yourself, and all that you are. Thank you for making my college experience, and I hope our club has had the same effect on you as well. I wish the best of luck in all future endeavors!
ETHAN SAMOWITZ
Circle K was a whirlwind experience, filled with friends and adventures that will last a lifetime. I learned that service and leadership is the key to success and creating moments that serve to those in need, while meeting friends and introducing members to fulfilling activities. Despite all the personal problems I was facing, I learned that I had to remain strong with an organization that provides for all and reminds me that friends stay close no matter what. Thank you fellow Circle K members for supporting me throughout this bizarre and interesting journey I have encountered. It was a pleasure doing service, while creating new connections that I hope last a lifetime. I wish everyone luck with their endeavors and hope they accomplish what they desire. Now I'm hoping to provide leadership to the world and become what I dream, but I couldn't have done it without Circle K, which became my stepping stone into doing better for all.
CKI PLEDGE
"I pledge to uphold the Objects of Circle K International, to foster compassion and goodwill toward others through service and leadership, to develop my abilities and the abilities of all people, and to dedicate myself to the realization of mankind’s potential."

NEW YORK SPEAKING
From Nov. 2-4, CCNY Circle K members took a break at Lake On the weekend of Sep. 28-30, CCNY Circle K members went to Kamp Kiwanis in upstate New York. While there, we worked on George. The tenet of NYS is fellowship, socializing and cleaning and preparing the camp for the upcoming winter. Members bonding with other members from across the state. We cleaned the outdoor area, re-stocked books in the camp's library, and made new friends, performed a song from Despicable Me, participated in many more forms of service. It was a great chance to and too beautiful pictures by the lake. We also played a not only support the camp itself, but also enjoy each other's mystery game that involved investigating a murder. This company during bonfires and while hanging out in our cabins. was a great getaway and we can't wait for next year!
