Message from the Director
Ahh…Summer, my personal favorite time of the year! There are so many great and wonderful opportunities to take advantage of through the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department. Our staff works hard throughout the year to provide creative and unique events and programs. Some of those that you may wish to take advantage of are kayaking or canoeing on the West Fork and Red Rivers. We have opened our first Blueway Access at Robert Clark Park on Tiny Town Road and if you don’t have your own equipment, we have partnered with two outfitters – Blueway Adventure and Run-a-Muck Outfitters, who can set you and your family up nicely for a great float trip. Another activity that I hope you and your family take advantage of this summer is our Liberty Live! Concerts at Liberty Park. Great music, food and fun await. Check out page 10 for more details! And as always, take advantage of our great Parks, and Greenway system and I’ll see you there. Mark Tummons
Message from the MAYOR
