Cleveland Astronomical Society: Dark Energy, What We Know & What We Really Don’t Know In 1996 astronomers discovered a repulsive force that is pushing the universe apart as “dark energy”. Dark energy constitutes 68% of the total energy of the universe, and we know very little about it. 3 FRIDAY Sylvan Loop Hike The autumn season is full of changes and one of the most visible changes is the leaf color. The Novice Naturalist Walk with Naturalist Foster Brown as we observe the activities of our resident beaver on Sunset Pond. Witch Hazel Hike While most deciduous trees are dropping leaves and preparing for winter, witch hazel is bursting into full bloom.
