How to Use This Book Student Book In the Bump Up! STARTER series, you can read and learn about a literary classic in each unit. Numerous classic stories by different authors and in different genres will teach you the joy of reading stories.

Before Reading Before reading the stories, get some prior knowledge about them and learn new vocabulary for your reading.

Chapter Each book has four chapters that introduce literary genres or famous authors. A brief introduction of each chapter will build your background knowledge before reading.
