The players shine the most when they are on the field playing their best energetically. Passing through opponents as smoothly and as fast as a viper, Lucas Vipers team aims for the champion spot enthusiastically. All mentioned traits are to be recognizable through the design of their brand logo and usage. Therefore, the style guide is to convey the standards of the brand under controlled details, illustrations, and applications. The Team’s Characteristics Passion - How the design works on various media showing the team’s heat in playing the sport. Strength - Does it portray fierceness and determination physically and emotionally of the team? Disciplined - Follow the standards and guidelines, no alternatives, no minor change, no replacement of thickness or colour tones. Focus - Does the work capture attention and regconition from general audience? How does it lead the eyes? Teamwork - Combination of each elements makes the functionality possible.
Design rationale and logo development The logo focuses on the team’s mascot : a viper. To put it simply, a snake as Lucas Vipers’ spirit animal must be the first and foremost image that comes to any thought of the team name. Both the snake illustration and Lucas Vipers name must be strong in strokes, indicating the team’s strength and skills. The logo must never be modified in any manner.

The impression of the snake is encouraged in many sketches. Other attempts without a sight of viper the spirit animal failed to deliver the essence of the team identity.
