COLLEGE OF LAW Katheleen Guzman, J.D., Dean The University of Oklahoma College of Law was founded in 1909 under the leadership of Dean Julien C. Monnet. It has been a member of the Association of American Law Schools since 1911 and on the American Bar Association’s approved list of law schools since its first publication in 1923. OU Law is one of the nation’s premier law schools with small sections and class sizes that encourage a strong sense of community. The accomplished faculty, with its national and international expertise, prepares College of Law students to become the top lawyers and leaders in Oklahoma, the nation and the world.
