GALLOGY COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING John Klier, Ph.D., Dean The College of Engineering was established as a degree-recommending college in 1909, and the first professional engineering degrees were conferred in 1910. The college’s purview of teaching, research, professional service and technology transfer has grown substantiallysince then, so that today it offers degrees in 15 programs leading to both undergraduate and graduate degrees across numerous disciplines of engineering and applied sciences. In appreciation of their gifts, the College of Engineering was officially named after Janet and Jim Gallogly in the fall of 2015. The goals and aspirations of the Gallogly College of Engineering are most clearly represented in the accomplishments of alumni who are defining the future of technology, medicine, business and the environment in public and private enterprises throughout Oklahoma and the world.
