III. PRESIDENT’S REPORT
Bonner commented on the increased number of members, especially large private universities. She commented on the enhanced committee structure and the additional engagement that has resulted. She indicated that the Communications and Marketing Committee successfully launched the new CAAE website and that it would serve as the platform to help engage both members and nonmembers more fully in the organization. It also would serve as a repository for content related to CAAE’s status as the thought leader in alumni relations. She further indicated that the research agenda was moved forward significantly over the past year. Bonner commented on the quality and impressiveness of the presentations by the CAAE fellows during the summer meeting. She also noted that the institute organizational model and content had been greatly enhanced thanks to the work of JT Forbes (Indiana) and Kathy Bickel (Oregon State). Bonner thanked the membership for the opportunity to serve as President and acknowledged the hard work of the board.

COMMITTEE UPDATES
Howard Wolf (Stanford) reported on behalf of the Research Committee. Upon motion and second, the membership approved the direction of partnering with Gallup.
VI. ELECTION OF OFFICERS AND DIRECTORS
JT Forbes, Vice President and Chair of the Nominating Committee, reported on behalf of the committee. He submitted to the membership the following individuals to fill open positions on the CAAE Board of Directors: • Richard Engel (California, Davis) to become an Elected Director for a three-year term from September 1, 2015 to August 31, 2018 • Mike Pede (Houston) to become an Elected Director for a three-year term from September 1, 2015 to August 31, 2018 • J Thomas Forbes (Indiana) to become President for a one-year term from September 1, 2015 to August 31, 2016 • Barbara Dick (Toronto) to become Vice President and President-Elect for a one-year term from September 1, 2015 to August 31, 2015 • Paula Bonner (Wisconsin) to become Immediate Past President for a one-year term from September 1, 2015 to August 31, 2016
Scott Westerman (Michigan State) moved and Judy Cole (MIT) seconded. The slate was approved as presented by the membership. There was a question asked about about the two positions occupied by members who are stepping out of roles at their institutions: Colleen Meyer (Colorado State) and Jefferson Coombs (California, Berkeley). Forbes reported that the committee would be reconvening to make recommendations to the President who will appoint members to fill the unexpired terms of Meyer and Coombs. He noted that such an action would require approval by 2/3 of the board.
VII. ADJOURN
Jeff Todd (British Columbia) moved and Patrick Auerbach (Southern California) seconded a motion to adjourn. Motion passed.
