2022 PCA Zone 8 Awards Banquet

To all members who do NOT know Alfred……he is probably one the hardest working members of our Region, Zone, and PCA. Alfred is a veteran of 20+ Porsche Parades, he attends all major PCA and Porsche events such as Werks, Rennsports, ünStock, etc. He works at all track events for our region and most others in southern California. Alfred is a Master Concours judge. He is a volunteer extraordinaire no matter what event he is participating in. No member I know does more, nor drives the thousands of miles a year to participate in PCA activities than Alfred!!! If there is a more dedicated and enthusiastic PCA Zone 8 member than Alfred, I have yet to meet them!

Shortly after entering the room where the banquet was held, I ran into Jeffry Waxman, of Santa Barbara Region. He mentioned that Anita Banke, a long-time SBR member, had recently passed away.

PCA National Secretary Todd Benz spoke briefly. He was followed by managers of both Porsche Ontario and Porsche Riverside, who graciously sponsored the evening, and provided many interesting door prizes.
