Embry-Riddle Network for Information Exchange ERNIE is the student portal used to conduct business. This is where your Eagle will schedule courses, view financial aid, make payments, manage outstanding required tasks, set up and access ERAU email, access the Campus Solutions Student Homepage, and so much more.
FERPA For parents and family members, one of the key tasks to perform in ERNIE is the assignment of FERPA rights. The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA) is a federal law designed to protect the privacy of, and limit access to, student educational records. This permission is granted through ERNIE by setting up auxiliary access, the system indication that your Eagle has granted
access to you. If your student doesn’t grant you access using the auxiliary access tool in ERNIE, University staff will be prohibited from communicating with you about your student. Students may revise their designations for disclosure at any time using Auxiliary Access in Campus Solutions.
