Student Employment Services Student Employment Services (SES) encourages the professional development of undergraduate and graduate students through job opportunities, workshops and resources to foster postgraduate success. Approximately 3,400 students are employed at LMU each year and gain valuable skills, connections and part-time experiences. National reports and LMU retention statistics indicate that student employees are more successful because of the skills and experiences they obtain on the job, which can lead to improved academic performance.

There are many types of student employment opportunities, which include: Work Study – On Campus • Various LMU Departments • Largest source of part-time student employment Work Study – Off Campus • Lions for Learning: Math and literacy tutoring at local elementary and middle schools • LMU Partners Program: Work with non-profit organizations in Los Angeles

Through Workday, students can search and apply for LMU job opportunities on the student job board.
