ALICE IN WONDERLAND 150 years have gone by since Alice in Wonderland, the incredible story written by Lewis Carroll and illustrated by John Tenniel, started to make definitely much funnier the lives of many children but also of many adults. Everyone knows the dazed in between dream and reality young Alice and her incredible wonderland.

Everyone is aware of how the young girl’s indomitable curiosity made her life more complicated when the the unstoppable desire to find out why a white rabbit would wear a waistcoat, and especially why and for what event it was extremely late for, made her fall into in a deep hole among the roots of a tree and let her adventures start. This fun character whisked us into new sometimes disturbing, sometimes hilarious worlds where the most incredible characters follow one another in a continuous change of perspective. It is impossible not to remember fondly the Cheshire Cat with its enigmatic smile and its outlandish statements that can instil doubt about any subject. And impossible not to smile at the thought of the Mad Hatter and the craziest bunch of companions ever. This page is a tribute to a character that has without a doubt entered the life of every boy or girl in the world giving them the inspiration needed to let their imagination soar into really fantastic worlds. Let’s all have a good trip without ever forgetting that “we are all mad here!”.

le voglia di capire per quale motivo un coniglio bianco indossasse un panciotto e soprattutto per quale motivo e a quale evento fosse in estremo ritardo, la fece cadere in un buco profondo tra le radici di un albero, dando inizio alla sua avventura. Questo divertente personaggio ci ha trasportato in mondi nuovi, talvolta inquietanti, talvolta esilaranti in cui gli individui più incredibili si susseguono in un continuo cambio di prospettive. Impossibile non soffermarsi a ricordare con un sorriso lo Stregatto, con il suo sorriso così enigmatico e dalle sue affermazioni strampalate in grado di insinuare il dubbio su qualsiasi Sono passati 150 anni da quando argomento. E come non sorridere un’incredibile storia, quella di Alice al pensiero del Cappellaio Matto e nel paese delle meraviglie scritta da la sua compagnia più folle che ci Lewis Carroll ed illustrata da John sia. Questa pagina, vuole essere Tenniel, ha reso le vite di molti un omaggio ad un personaggio che bambini, ma anche di molti adulti, si può dire sia ormai entrato nella sicuramente più divertenti. Chiunvita di ogni bambino o bambina del que conosce la piccola stralunata mondo dando lo spunto necessario Alice, a cavallo tra sogno e realtà per far volare la fantasia in mondi e il suo incredibile paese delle davvero fantastici. Buon viaggio meraviglie. AGORÀ 31 Among the innumerable locations of the Milan’s FuoriExpo events starting from 1st May 2015, we mention one that is completely dedicated to the high quality of Made in Italy products for children: Agorà31, an enchanted microcosm that has sprouted up at the core of one of the hot spots of the city programming, Ex Opificio31 located at Fior di Tortona.

During this venture, supported by Il Mondo di Eve in cooperation with A Misura di Bimbo, selected exponents of Italian craftsmanship will perform for the whole duration of the exhibition, within a set-out inspired by the evocative power of senses. Such a clever formula of

exhibition storytelling surprises us again in an extended version after the success of the preview staged during the last edition of FuoriSalone, the Milan’s event consecrated to design. In that occasion, Collezioni Bambini and Collezioni 03 Baby, media partner of the event, had the chance of spending its time within this magical setting: an exciting experience that we would like to share with all those that during those days were somewhere else; then, we invite you to plunge with us into the story of what has happened…

“As we get close to Agorà31, the perfume of flowers spreads out from the usual amazing location of a flowers workshop. Accompanied by these flowered notes, we find the small building, unmistakable judging from the overflow of festive creativity which crosses its threshold: we find the domesticated fragrances of Ortobrick, bricks of fertile soil for the creation of indoor seeds, each one wrapped up in its own packaging on which the directions for plantation are reported; while, amidst one plant of basil and one of rocket, Ceramiche Fiabesche by the illustrator and ceramics artist Giuliana Bellina stand out with lively prettiness: animals, scarecrows and coloured hoods between dream and reality. And, with regard to dreams, is that one really a unicorn? Of course: it is Pegaso, one of the extraordinary creations by Arkidslab, a brand of furnishing for children that grow together with their little users while giving a boost to their fantasy, obtained from the recycle of modern art or new pieces like the wardrobe named Dove porta?(Where does it lead?) Exactly, where does the door (porta, in Italian)lead? Forget the crystallized world of unlikely representations, because once you will have stepped into, you will find a veritable powerhouse of children vitality. Just to start, in the house there is a house, which is also a kitchen, a

44 little theatre, a blackboard and a toys storage box … it was conceived by the brilliant minds of Il Mondo di Eve, designers of solid wood furniture that can be given a new function for houses and the contract sector, inspired by the Montessori education. The careful analysis of pedagogical methods is also at the base of the furnishing created by Isaff, a company that has been cooperating for many years in close cooperation with the experts of Reggio Children.

All around, urban horizons appear from the walls: they belong to the last collection by Zanzotti Design, which employs shaped tinplate to create funny accessories for children, like magnets, book ends and shelves, the latter have been pointed out as to enable kids to immediately find the book they are looking for and then leave for an enthusiastic journey through fantastic adventures; just as it happens when we flip through the pages of the illustrated stories by Orecchio Acerbo Editore, a multiple prizewinning publishing house with high contents of meaning (the catalogue ranges from classic to literature to current affairs) illustrated by world famous artists. There is a very little distance between a real and a madeup story, especially for a child: also for this reason, Mini Mondo 3D has developed a section completely dedicated to them, giving the chance of enjoying the miniartista. it service which, thanks to the use of special software and printers, enables the creation of three-dimensional sculptures starting from your children’ s drawings. For upcoming technology, there is an ancient one, which shares the same goal: Matto

Costruzioni is a system of handmade clay bricks, baked at high temperatures, distributed in sets with a retro style, through which aspiring designers will be able to erect every type of structure with a temporary character. The water-based tattoos designed by Titoo Design are also temporary, distinguished by graphic signs with a high content in irony, for adults and children.

Sound certainties, imaginary worlds and unstable constructions are puzzling you? Perhaps observing your image reflected in My Mirrors can be of help: a collection of mirrors with decorations that combine play and self-recognition as a game.

Then, hurry up to go back to reality, because there’s much more to discover here! There are precious creations by Ciasmo, a sartorial workshop that re-elaborates vintage fabrics coming from Italy and Japan to manufacture delicate and elegant clothes, accessories and textile complements for furnishing.

And the dolls by OhNina are just as much sophisticated, handmade with meticulous attention and equipped with a refined sartorial wardrobe. And finally, the artisanal creations by Filo Events, a company specialized in the organization of events for children. If, at the end of this spring tour, you are suddenly caught by the sunset, just light up the colourful wreaths and the luminous spheres by CoboShop to warm the atmosphere, handcrafted with cotton yarns and felt inlay works.

fabrics. Fear of the dark? Don’t worry, the Dadà will think about it: little super-heroes protagonists of the application created by Elastico App to defeat children’s fears, winner of the Digital Award on the occasion of BolognaRagazzi 2015”.

9 Tra le innumerevoli location che costelleranno il programma del FuoriExpo milanese a partire dal 1 maggio 2015, ve n’è una interamente dedicata all’alta qualità dei prodotti per l’infanzia Made in Italy: è Agorà31, un microcosmo fatato germogliato al centro di una delle zone più calde del palinsesto cittadino, l’Ex Opificio 31 in Fior di Tortona.

L’iniziativa, promossa da Il Mondo di Eve con la collaborazione di A Misura di Bimbo, vedrà succedersi per l’intero periodo della manifestazione selezionati esponenti dell’artigianalità italiana, in un allestimento ispirato al potere evocativo dei sensi.

Questa originale formula di storytelling espositivo ritorna ora a stupirci in versione ampliata dopo il successo dell’anteprima organizzata durante la scorsa edizione del FuoriSalone, l’evento milanese dedicato al design.

In quell’occasione, Collezioni Bambini e Collezioni 03 Baby, media partner dell’evento, ha avuto la fortuna di trascorrere il proprio

tempo all’interno di quest’incantevole cornice: un’esperienza entusiasmante che vorremmo condividere con quanti in quei giorni si trovavano altrove; vi invitiamo, dunque, ad immergervi con noi nel racconto di ciò che è stato…

“Avvicinandosi, intorno ad Agorà31 il profumo dei fiori si spande da quella che è abitualmente l’affascinante sede di un laboratorio floreale. Accompagnati da queste note fiorite individuiamo la piccola costruzione, inconfondibile a giudicare dallo strabordare di creatività festosa che ne travalica la soglia: ci sono gli aromi addomesticati di Ortobrick, mattoni di terra fertile per la creazione di semenziai indoor, ciascuno avvolto nel proprio packaging riportante le semplici istruzioni di coltivazione; mentre, tra un basilico ed una rucola, spiccano con vivace leggiadria le Ceramiche Fiabesche dell’ illustratrice e ceramista Giuliana Bellina: animali, spaventapasseri e cappuccetti colorati a cavallo tra sogno

11 e realtà. E, a proposito di sogni, è proprio un unicorno quello che si libra nell’aria? Certo: è Pegaso, una delle straordinarie creazioni di Arkidslab, brand di arredi per l’infanzia che crescono insieme ai loro piccoli fruitori stimolandone la fantasia, ottenuti dal recupero di esemplari di modernariato o di nuova creazione, come l’armadio Dove porta?

La porta, appunto, dove porta? Dimenticate il mondo cristallizzato di inverosimili rappresentazioni, perché quello che troverete una volta entrati è un vero e proprio condensato di vitalità infantile.

Tanto per cominciare, nella casa c’è una casa, che è anche cucina, teatrino, lavagna e portagiochi… l’hanno partorita le geniali menti de Il Mondo di Eve, progettiste di arredi in legno massello rifunzionalizzabili per ambienti domestici e settore contract, d’ispirazione montessoriana. L’attenta analisi dei metodi pedagogici è anche alla base degli arredi di Isaff, azienda che da anni lavora in stretta collaborazione con gli esperti di

12 Reggio Children.

Tutt’intorno, emergono dalle pareti orizzonti urbani a tinte pastello: appartengono all’ultima collezione di Zanzotti Design, che utilizza la lamiera sagomata per creare accessori divertenti a misura di bambino, come magneti, fermalibri e mensole, queste ultime studiate perché anche i più piccoli possano riconoscere immediatamente il libro che stavano cercando e partire per un viaggio appassionato verso fantastiche avventure; proprio come accade sfogliando una delle storie illustrate di Orecchio Acerbo Editore, casa editrice pluripremiata dai contenuti pregni di significato (il catalogo spazia dai classici della letteratura all’attualità) illustrati da pennelli e matite di fama internazionale. Da una storia vissuta ad una inventata il passo è breve, soprattutto per un bambino:

Per una tecnologia emergente, ve n’è un’altra, antichissima, che si prefigge il medesimo scopo: Matto Costruzioni è un sistema di mattoncini d’argilla realizzati a mano e cotti ad alta temperatura, distribuiti in kit dal sapore retrò, grazie ai quali aspiranti progettisti potranno ergere strutture d’ogni sorta dal carattere temporaneo. Solide certezze, mondi immaginari e costruzioni instabili vi stanno confondendo? Forse potrà esservi d’aiuto osservare la vostra immagine riflessa in My Mirrors, collezione di specchi dalla superficie decorata che combinano gioco ed esercizio di riconoscimento del sé.

Affrettatevi dunque a tornare alla realtà, perché qui c’è ancora molto da scoprire!

Ci sono le preziose creazioni di

Ciasmo, laboratorio sartoriale che rielabora tessuti vintage provenienti dall’Italia e dal Giappone per confezionare indumenti, accessori e complementi tessili per l’arredamento delicati ed eleganti.

Ci sono, altrettanto sofisticate, le bambole di OhNina realizzate a mano con maniacale perizia e corredate da un raffinato guardaroba sartoriale. Ci sono, infine, le creazioni artigianali di Filo Events, società specializzata nell’organizzazione di eventi per l’infanzia.

Se, al termine di questa gita primaverile, il tramonto vi coglie di sorpresa, per riscaldare l’atmosfera basterà accendere le colorate ghirlande e le sfere luminose di CoboShop, realizzate artigianalmente con fili di cotone ed intarsi di feltro. Così, il vostro bambino potrà addormentarsi serenamente, magari avvolto nell’abbraccio de Il Pigiamino, con le sue creazioni d’intimo realizzate presso un’antica camiceria utilizzando tessuti d’alta gamma. La paura del buio? Non preoccupatevi, a dissolverla ci pensano i Dadà: i piccoli super-eroi protagonisti dell’applicazione realizzata da Elastico App per sconfiggere le paure infantili, premiata con il Digital Award in occasione di BolognaRagazzi 2015”.
