Novità assoluta proveniente dal Giappone, queste testine galleggianti si possono inserire nelle esche siliconiche per mantenere una parte rialzata durante il recupero sul fondale, facendo assumere all’artificiale un movimento incredibilmente naturale. Se usato in entrambi i lati dell’esca, può rendere l’artificiale galleggiante.

Particolare molto apprezzabile è la guardia, che nel nostro caso è composta da due filamenti di generoso spessore di florocarbon. Il Worm keeper, è composto da due piccole alette di circa mezzo centimetro dalla base della testa, disassate l’una dall’altra. La testina piombata ideale per la pesca con artificiali finesse in acque chiare. Questa testina munita di antialga permette di utilizzare la tecnica shaky head anche in presenza di ostacoli sul fondale.

Da notare i due assi su sui quali si trova l’occhiello e la punta, questa diversa posizione, permette che l’esca in fase di ferrata e di innesco non scivoli nella zona della curvatura.La sezione del filo come per il muscle gape è schiacciato ai lati, un amo molto robusto per l’utilizzo in condizioni di combattimenti impegnativi dove forzare la cattura si rivela una condizione necessaria.

L’amo disegnato appositamente per le swim bait morbide di ultima generazione. L’utilizzo del carbonio alto modulo permette di ridurre il peso dell’amo per non sbilanciare l’assetto dell’esca. Amo di generose dimensioni, dotato di una curvatura molto particolare che ricorda la sezione di una mezza pera, questo particolare modello è molto indicato per l’innesco di shad, frog bait, ed esche con un volume considerevole.

Altra particolarità che notiamo, è che mentre nella zona dell’occhiello e nell’immediata curvatura il filo è a tutto tondo, nella parte della curvatura principale e della punta il filo è schiacciato ai lati, questo permette una migliore penetrazione in fase di ferrata, punta e occhiello sono in linea.

Il difetto dei comuni ami dritti, definiti “Straight”, è quello di non fermare saldamente l’artificiale vicino all’occhiello, e questo scende sul gambo dell’amo, cambiandone l’assetto. Ma Hayabusa ha rimediato a questo problema aggiungendo uno stopper pieghevole a forma di cappio, che blocca perfettamente l’esca.

Inoltre, il materiale morbido con cui è costruito questo stopper, fa sì che l’artificiale non si rovini quando viene tolto dall’amo per cambiarlo.

The weakness of straight hook was that plastic worm slides down the shank during heavy use. But it is solved by having loop stopper. Also, the soft material used for loop stopper do not damage the plastic worms when they are switched to another one.
