"Taking over the Denver courses in 2006 and really focusing on course conditions and customer service, really being able to raise the level of the course conditions and customer service to a point where we're a great value for the price that we charge in the Denver metro area Also taking the first tee program to the second largest in the nation We serve over 11,000 kids each year, it's giving back to the community through kids and I think as a municipal facility that's what we're supposed to do "

"I think it'd be the same advice I'd give anybody, anybody looking to try and figure out what they want to do for either the rest of their lives or the next chapter of their lives or whatever it might be, make sure you love it Make sure it's something that you think is fun, you enjoy doing every day because if that's true then you're going to be able to do it for the long haul and you're going to do it really well because you enjoy it."
