Jeramy Curry, PGA Raises $11,600 to Support Junior Golf

On Friday, June 23rd, Colorado PGA Professional and Director of Instruction at Pinehurst Country Club, Jeramy Curry, stepped up big for his community. Jeramy created an initiative called "Golf Lessons Fore Charity." He had a vision in which Colorado PGA Instructors could spend a day giving lessons, with all proceeds going to junior golf programming in the Colorado Section So, that Friday, he donated all his lesson income to junior programming through PGA REACH Colorado And through his vision, passion, and support of his students, he raised $11,600 to support junior golf programming!

"Continuing to enhance the junior golf experience in the Colorado PGA Section is a priority for the PGA REACH Colorado Foundation and its PGA Professionals It is so inspiring to see such a talented PGA Coach and Professional like Jeramy Curry take this initiative to heart Through Jeramy's Inaugural Golf Lessons FORE Charity, he, his students, and the Pinehurst Country Club members helped raise $11,600 to help ensure that cost will never inhibit one’s involvement and enjoyment of the game of golf The monies raised will be going to financial aid packages and scholarships for junior golfers in the Colorado PGA Section programming. Kyle Heyen, PGA, Partners with PGA REACH Colorado to Raise $14,000 for Junior Golf

Kyle Heyen, PGA, Director of Golf at Hiwan Golf Club, has used his platform as a PGA Professional to support his community for many years Most notably known for his willingness to raise his hand and run the New York City Marathon on behalf of PGA REACH, this time, Kyle has partnered with PGA REACH Colorado with his Game For Life event at his club to support junior golf initiatives

On July 10th, PGA REACH Colorado and Game for Life teamed up to conduct the annual fundraiser event at beautiful Hiwan GC. In memory of Dr. Dennis Clifford, this tournament's proceeds will benefit local youth. Some of the monies raised from this initiative have already provided all new equipment for the Golf in Schools Program at Evergreen Middle School. The funds will also help to support the new PGA REACH Colorado Financial Aid Grant Program, in which kids will be given Wilson Golf Clubs and entries paid for on the Colorado PGA Junior Golf Tours
