“CHILDREN TALK TO GOD”

Taking him in his arms, he said to them ‘Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me…” - Mark 9:37 Jesus loved children. He welcomed them. Adored them. Blessed them. One day in Judea people were bringing their children to Jesus to have Him touch them and bless them. Sadly, the disciples rebuked them and probably said something like, “Go away, can’t you see He is too busy for you?”

Jesus called them out saying, “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these” (Mark l0:13-14). We would all do well to be more childlike in our faith, our homes and in our nation. That said; look for the common theme in these examples of children talking to God:

Tammy passed away unexpectedly on July 17, 2018 in her home in Tennessee. She was born September 26, 1962. Tammy is survived by husband James (Tom) Boyett, parents Larry Sr. and Judith Meyer of Otsego, one sister Terry Meyer of Holland and one brother Larry Meyer, Jr. of Paw Paw. Tammy was also blessed with three children and two step-children: Jeremy Kincade, Joshua Kincade, Tamara Kincade, Matt Boyett, and Ginny Boyett. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, three nieces, a nephew, and many friends like longtime friend Josie Saucedo (Herrington) since first grade. Also very special to Tammy were her two dogs, Ginny and Scooter. Per her wishes, cremation took place in McMinnville and no service will be held. Tammy was a free spirit known for her love for the earth, wind and fire. Fly free….fly free
