CWCE is offering Bartender Certification classes this spring! Meet SCC instructor Loretta Etchison in one of her spring floral design courses:
• Intermediate • Advanced • Weddings “I have made and sold my art since I was about fifteen years old. Art and flowers, it's similar – flowers are just another media used to create art. I had the opportunity to manage floral departments for 19 years when I worked for Safeway: I love business and I love flowers so it was a perfect mix for me! I left Safeway when I began teaching at SCC, and at that time I started a wedding flower business in my home. My students and I are going to start a cutting garden at SCC this year so we will be able to harvest flowers for class in the Fall. I love to design with interesting flowers, colors and textures. I think of myself as an "out of the box" designer, sometimes using eatables and other interesting plant material.” For further details on any of our classes email ce@ccs.spokane.edu or call 509-533-8483.
