Physical Review Physics Education Research Recognizes EIC Research
The paper “Mechanical waves conceptual survey: Its modification and conversion to a standard multiple-choice test” by Dr. Genaro Zavala and Dr. Pablo Barniol was recognized as “Editor’s Highlights” in the journal webpage Physical Review Physics Education Research, which is considered the top journal regarding research related to the teaching and learning of physics. Ernesto Marinero from Purdue University Visits EIC He Met with Researchers and Offered a Brief Talk during His Visit
Dr. Ernesto Marinero, professor of the School of Materials Engineering in Purdue University visited Monterrey Campus. His meeting with EIC researchers will reinforce the collaboration between both universities. He also offered the conference "Graduate Research Opportunities at Purdue University: Advancing the Science, Technology and Business Objectives of Nuevo León and Mexico, through the Strategic Partnership between I2T2 and Purdue" for students and alumni.

Thomas Kurfees Shares Trends in Digital Manufacturing Georgia Tech Professor and EIC Distinguished Professor Delivers Two Seminars
Dr. Thomas Kurfees shared his knowledge, stories, and advice before a large audience. The seminar “Advanced Manufacturing and Using Big Data to Enhance Production from Big Shops to Small Shops” was attended by undergraduate students, while “Digital Manufacturing, Laying the Foundation Today for Tomorrow’s Opportunities” was aimed for graduate students.
