EIC Experts Encourage Better Water Management
The Water Center organized the International Meeting: “Decision Support Processes for a Participatory Water Management: Building Capacities in Latin America and the Caribbean”
The first international meeting enclosed oral presentations of case studies on decision support processes implemented by experts, panels, roundtables, a workshop and a networking session. Star Professor Offers Metaheuristic Conference
Graduate and undergraduate students attend talk by Carlos Coello, CINVESTAV researcher
The conference “Bio-Inspired Metaheuristics: Resolving Problems the way Nature Would do it” was delivered by Carlos Coello, star professor of the Intelligent Systems Research Group. The conference was focused in evolutionary computation. The topic goes hand to hand with the research that the professor conducts, where he uses “hyper-heuristics for multi-objective optimization; method that uses complementary search engines” said Coello.

EIC Researchers and Entrepreneurs Receive Recognition
The Technology Transfer Office network launches the Policy of Intellectual Property during the ceremony After the presentation of the new policy, professors with licensed and granted patents, as well as technology-based entrepreneurs received a recognition from TTO.
