Pedro Joaquin Coldwell, Mexican Secretary of Energy, informed Tecnologico de Monterrey authorities about the $320 million pesos’ investment for research and formative support on energy. The agreement was possible due to the hard work and vision of the Research Groups and Tecnologico de Monterrey strategic initiatives. Historically, this would be the first occasion that the Mexican government invests in this way on a private university.
