In many ways, this emirate is several destinations in one, from the rustic charm of Al Ain, the birthplace of the country’s founding father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and the breathtaking vastness of the Liwa Desert in Al Gharbia with its mountainous dunes, to the energising pace and brightness of our capital city. We all share a desire to make you feel as welcome as possible and hope you leave with a positive, lasting impression of our homeland, traditions and people. In the pages of this magazine, you will find an overview of the emirate’s widespread appeal and I’m sure you will find much to inspire and entertain you. Tradition, with a twist

‘The Souk at Qaryat Al Beri’ is a unique venue and the first of its kind in Abu Dhabi. Built on two levels, The Souk is an interesting fusion of Arabian architecture with a Venetian theme, which together reflects traditional Arab hospitality. Water canals meander through The Souk and nearby properties with abra boats ferrying hotel guests from the Shangri-La Hotel to various locations. Several restaurants and coffee shops have alfresco dining terraces that overlook the waters and afford a view of the picturesque landscape.

THE GREAT BRITISH RENAISSANCE ——— A love for aviation and traditional values makes Bremont one of the most inspiring manufactures of our time

Centuries ago Britain was renowned the world over as a principal base for watch manufacturing but today only a handful of mechanical manufactures exist in the country. The tides are changing however, and the rise of Bremont represents a welcome resurgence of fine British craftsmanship in the world of watchmaking. Founded in 2002 and headquartered at Henley-on-Thames in England, Bremont produces beautiful pilot’s watches of exceptional quality both in terms of aesthetics and engineering. All Bremont watches are designed, manufactured and assembled in England – a fact that is a matter of pride for the co-founders and brothers Nick and Giles English who share a passion for flying historic aircraft as well as for fine timepieces. “We have always been inspired by a love of engineering, aviation and adventure. As pilots ourselves, aviation is always at the heart of all our designs and inherent in every watch. When we started we had a very clear view of what we wanted to achieve – beautiful and classic-styled watches that looked great in the boardroom but were also robust enough to be used in any situation. “Being British is a big point of reference and we pride ourselves on creating exclusive watches of the highest quality but also representing the best value within our price point given the engineering and craftsmanship,” says Giles English, co-founder of Bremont. Rather ironically, the name Bremont is French in origin, but it does hold deep meaning for the founders. The story behind the name relates to an incident in the late 1990s, when Nick and Giles were

flying across France in a 1930s biplane and had to make an emergency landing because of poor weather. Keen to avoid the French authorities at the time, the brothers accepted the help of the farmer – also a gifted engineer – whose field they had landed in, staying in his home while the aircraft remained safe in his barn. Honouring the farmer’s hospitality, the brothers named the company after Antoine Bremont. With Nick and Giles English’s background in aviation, it’s no surprise that this passion is also reflected in their creations. “Watches have always historically played a pivotal role in pilot navigation and aircraft operations. Up until as recently as 20 years ago, you would literally navigate in the air using a map, compass and your trusty mechanical watch. “A watch company is a very complicated business to run. We are an engineering business, making something that is very complicated but one that also has to run a retail business, be a marketing company and be global. As a result, each day I wake up, I have another challenge and have to focus on many different areas. One thing Nick and I enjoy the most is the design side and that takes up a lot of time, but no single day is the same,” explains Giles. At Baselworld 2016, Bremont introduced a series of refined Regatta timepieces to its America’s Cup collection, as well as additions to the SOLO line of elegant automatic chronometers and a brand new Bremont SOLO-32 Collection of ladies mechanical chronometers. One of this year’s showstoppers was undoubtedly the limited-edition Boeing 100 chronograph crafted to celebrate Boeing’s

100th anniversary. A horological tribute to the commercial aircraft manufacturer, this timepiece is an aviation enthusiast’s dream. Here carbon fibre composite from the historic Boeing Dreamliner ZA004 – being used to test key green technological innovations for a more sustainable future in aviation – is cleverly integrated into the crown of each timepiece. It is also manufactured from Boeing aviation-grade Ti 6-4 titanium, said to be significantly stronger than commercial titanium, and sports a distinctive ‘Boeing brown’ colour, inspired by the same shade often used in the cockpits of older aircraft. “The British love their history and we use it to inspire our designs. We also recently unveiled our new Wright Flyer limited edition that incorporates an important part of history. In historical terms, what could be more remarkable than using some of the original fabric from the first ever powered aircraft? The 1903 Wright Flyer was built and designed by the Wright Brothers themselves in Dayton, Ohio, USA. It is the invention and aircraft that changed the way we live today and it has inspired our latest, and perhaps most unique, limited-edition timepiece,” explains Giles. Bremont is available exclusively through Rivoli in the UAE, a market that the company is keen to have a strong presence in. “We see a wonderful enthusiasm for mechanical watches in the region. The depth of knowledge and thirst for information makes it a lovely market to come into. I always appreciate coming to the Middle East and seeing the enthusiasm of collectors,” says Giles, who adds that it is an exciting time for the British watch trade.

“People forget that there is a huge history behind British watchmaking. Our goal has always been to help reinvigorate and restart the industry in Britain and we are ambitious. By having our own apprentice schemes and investing in equipment for our new parts manufacturing facility in Silverstone we are definitely building on that. It is the first time parts of this kind, on this scale, have been made in the UK for many decades. This, combined with the watch assembly workshop in Henley-on-Thames which we have had for years, is producing a secure foundation. “We are incredibly lucky that we have been able to build on the wonderful history of British watchmaking and tell a story that many people are not aware of. As long as there are people who continue to appreciate beautifully made chronometer timepieces we have a very bright future ahead.”

ESPECIALLY FOR YOU ——— Raise the bar on exclusivity with a purchase that boasts a bespoke touch

When describing luxury goods, the words ‘unique’ and ‘rare’ are frequently used in today’s competitive market yet it generally takes more than a few well-chosen adjectives to stand out from the crowd. In a bid to bring back a more exclusive element, a number of brands have upped the ante when it comes to creating bespoke pieces as artists and craftsmen pour their passion into designing wonderfully distinctive pieces. On the fashion front, made-to-measure designs and accessories combine comfort with a stylish edge. While in the world of haute horology Jaeger-LeCoultre reveals a realm of exquisite personalisation options. Or, if it’s a more cultural aspect you seek, the UAE boasts a wealth of unique arts and crafts all of which tell a charming tale of this dynamic region. GOLDEN PEN

—— Among the most ancient of the world’s art forms, Arabic styles of calligraphy date as far back as 2,000BCE. Beautiful examples of this special script can be seen throughout the UAE, particularly on mosque ceilings, souks and on important documentation. There are around 20 different types of Islamic calligraphy and mastering the art takes

years of practice as each exquisitely written line is painstakingly created by etching ink onto parchment by quill. One of the country’s own masters who has turned his talent for calligraphy into unique pieces of art is Amir Hussein Golshani. From his Golden Pen workshop in Souk Khan Murjan at Wafi mall in Dubai, Golshani creates distinctive artworks using traditional calligraphy, engraving and carving. “Whether in Arabic, Persian or English, calligraphy has one root. It is something like painting; when you can paint, for example, a flower, you can paint another f lower. For me, this kind of art is a way to show feelings and love to people,” says Golshani. For those seeking a treasured token from their time in the emirate, a personalised calligraphy piece would certainly leave a lasting impression. Golshani offers a bespoke service to clients and works on an eclectic variety of materials including paper, leather, metal, eggs and shells. The artist also carves calligraphy into wood, deftly etching a word or phrase in Arabic from a single piece. Held in high regard, much of Golshani’s business is generated through word of mouth and happily satisfied customers. “For me there is no impossible. I believe you can do anything if you want to; in art or in life. I love to show my art to people all over the world.”

JA E G E R- L E CO U LT R E

—— Luxury Swiss watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre is renowned for its technical innovations and ingenious timepieces, yet of all the designs that have captured the hearts of watch connoisseurs, the Reverso remains one of the most beloved. First crafted 85 years ago, and unlike anything that had come before, it represented the perfect synergy between form and function. While born from the desire of British colonials to own an elegant timepiece that could also withstand the rigours of a polo match, right from the offset Reverso was destined to be much more than just a sports watch. The potential to personalise the Reverso’s distinctive metal caseback has led to a veritable archive of engravings, monograms, family crests and even coats-of-arms emblazoned on timepieces. Over the years, the maison has added new customisation features, including digital imprinting, enamelling and lacquered engraving that can be explored at the Jaeger LeCoultre boutique at Marina Mall. Following the recent launch of the first Atelier Reverso boutique in London, the watchmaker is keen to introduce yet more customisation options to patrons across the globe.

TIME TO REFLECT ——— The holy month is a season of spirituality and goodwill as over 1.5 billion muslims focus on the pillars of their faith

THIS SPECIAL TIME OF YEAR IS A UNIQUE OPPORTUNIT Y FOR VISITORS TO LEARN MORE ABOUT LOCAL CULTURE AND CUSTOMS, WHILE JOINING IN SOME CHERISHED TR ADITIONS

For many, Ramadan is primarily characterised by fasting – the practise of abstaining from all food and drink between the hours of sunrise and sunset. While this is certainly an important part of the Ramadan experience, it is just one of the many elements that come together during the holy month as muslims turn their gaze inwards and reflect on their faith. This special time of year is also a unique opportunity for visitors to learn more about local culture and customs, while joining in some cherished traditions. Known as the holy month, Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and always starts two weeks earlier than the previous year. The exact date of the beginning of Ramadan is determined by the sighting of the new moon, or ‘hilal’. When this slight crescent has appeared in the sky the start of the holy month is announced. The following morning at the first light of dawn fasting will commence. This year Ramadan is due to fall between June 6 and July 5, or as soon as the official Moon Sighting Committee spots the hilal. At the end of the month, when the hilal is once again observed, the three-day Eid

CONC_AUH_JUNE16_EXPERIENCE_PHOTOESSAY_Ramadan_v1_TSJC.indd 32

al-Fitr festival to break the fast begins. It’s also a special time when families and friends come together to enjoy the spirit of the season. Nasif Kayed, general manager of the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding (SMCCU), explains the different elements of practising Islam, especially during the holy month. “Part of the faith involves fasting during Ramadan. The idea is to teach discipline, perseverance and patience. It also makes you watch yourself very closely. During daylight hours between sunrise and sunset muslims must abstain from all food, drink, smoking, gossiping and cursing. While outsiders might think this a daunting prospect, many followers look forward to the holy month each year. The whole community does it together. It would be more difficult if you were the only one,” Kayed explains. “Of course there are some muslims who don’t anticipate the arrival of Ramadan as eagerly, but those who dive into it are rewarded by enhanced spirituality. Many of us really look forward to it because it makes us feel great to practise being good.”

WHEN THE SUN SETS, THE FAST ENDS FOR THE DAY AND FOLLOWERS CAN ENJOY THE IFTAR MEAL . IT M ARKS AN OPPORTUNIT Y TO COME TOGETHER OVER A DELICIOUS FEAST EACH NIGHT DURING R A M ADAN

Aside from the sumptuous iftars held at five-star hotels in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi, iftar is also offered at Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding and Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in the capital

The early part of the holy month is often the most challenging as fasting begins. “The first three days are very difficult for almost everyone. As the month goes on it gets better and better and by the time you’re used to it, it ends. You feel so purified that you could continue to live like it past the end of the month,” Kayed explains. When the sun sets, the fast ends for the day and followers can enjoy the iftar meal. It marks an opportunity to come together over a delicious feast each night during Ramadan. As well as gatherings at home, hotels across the region serve luxurious iftar buffets incorporating authentic Middle Eastern cuisine like dates, mezze, pickles, olives, roasted meats, tagines and juices. Later in the evening, a second round of food is served in a meal called ‘sohour’. This is also the name for the last meal before sunrise and some eat it as an early breakfast before the first prayer. All through the year muslims pray five times a day, but the prayers just before sunrise and just after sunset during the holy month take on extra significance as daylight fasting begins or ends. Performing ritual prayers five times a day is another pillar of Islam and is called ‘salat’. Many will read the Qur’an more frequently and intently during this time, memorising parts of the text and reciting the muslim profession of faith, called ‘shahada’, more often. Ahead of prayer time, worshippers perform ‘wudu’ or ablution to cleanse faces, hands and feet before presenting themselves to God.

“Ablution is the physical and mental preparation before you step into the conversation with your lord,” explains Kayed. “The prayer is identical every time. All over the world muslims say the same words reflecting the same principle: to be good and recognise blessings.” Another major part of the holy month is ‘zakat’, one of the five pillars of Islam that requires muslims give to the poor and needy during Ramadan. Feeling hunger from fasting is also a fitting reminder of the suffering of others and the need to be charitable towards those in need at this spiritual time of year. “In Ramadan charity counts in every way. You can feed, clothe, or give money. You give from what God has given you,” says Kayed. Visitors are invited to join in the spirit of generosity by donating or giving larger tips to waiters or taxi drivers. A useful phrase to use at this time is ‘Ramadan kareem’ or ‘happy Ramadan’. Once Ramadan and fasting ends, a joyous three-day celebration called Eid al-Fitr takes place. Kayed says: “After breakfast and prayers everyone dresses in new clothes and meets each other, starting with the oldest in the family, and then visiting extended family. “All three days are about spending time with family and having fun together,” adds Kayed. It’s also common, though not obligatory, for families to give gifts especially to children during this special time as muslims around the world come together to mark the end of Ramadan for another year.”

CAPITAL THRILLS ——— Enjoy record-breaking rides and plenty of family fun at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi

Since opening nearly six years ago, the world’s largest indoor theme park – and first ever Ferrarithemed park – has delighted thousands with its range of fantastic rides and attractions. The luxury Italian brand’s core values have been used as inspiration for its family-friendly environment, with many attractions dedicated to telling the story of Enzo Ferrari and the thrill of motorsports in a fun and interactive way. The record-breaking rollercoaster Formula Rossa is undoubtedly one of the most thrilling rides here and reaches speeds of 240 kilometres per hour in under five seconds, however one of our new favourites is the Flying Aces gravity-defying rollercoaster – not only does it boast the world’s tallest loop at 52 metres but also the steepest and fastest cable lift incline at 51 degrees. Then there’s the fantastic Karting Academy, which features a 290 metre long track and uses the first electric-powered go-karts in the region. Tear round the circuit, which is geared for both beginners and serious enthusiasts,

before booking one of the park’s popular driving experiences that lets you actually get behind the wheel of a sleek Ferrari convertible and enjoy an unforgettable journey. Ferrari World’s Fiorano GT challenge is also worth a try and sees two rollercoasters launching away from the starting line on twisting parallel tracks. The ride is based on real GT racecourses from around the world and reaches speeds of 95 kilometres per hour with plenty of sharp turns and dips to raise your adrenaline levels. If you’re visiting with little ones, make sure to stop by Benno’s Great Race. This new interactive ride takes guests on a memorable journey with a mouse called Benno, solving various puzzles and games along the way. Another highlight is the Junior Training Camp, a dedicated climbing area just for kids, with fun trapeze, swings and walls that test their skills in a challenging way. After a day of action and adventure, pull up a seat at Ristorante Cavallino. The signature dishes

at this restaurant are a delight. Cavallino is the first restaurant that opened next to the Ferrari factory in the 1940s, and is where Enzo Ferrari is said to have dined. Inspired by this, the restaurant at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi features a comprehensive menu that celebrates the art of fine Italian cuisine. Think delicious spaghetti, buttery soft foie gras, beef short ribs and more. Another dining highlight here is the street-styled trattoria Mamma Rossella that presents homemade comfort food, including authentic pizzas that offer a true taste of Italy – the restaurant also received a nod from the criticallyacclaimed Neapolitan Pizza Association. With all this and so much more, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi really is a capital treat this summer.

Experience the thrills for yourself with myconcierge. Members can book an all-access day pass to Ferrari World Abu Dhabi for just AED250 for adults, AED205 per child. Visit: myco.ae/auhferrari

ISLAND FLAVOURS ——— Chef Adam Tracey chats about Radisson Blu Hotel, Abu Dhabi Yas Island’s culinary offerings

Boasting close proximity to attractions such as Yas Waterworld and the world’s largest indoor theme park, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, not to mention gorgeous views of Yas Links’ lush green golf course, Radisson Blu Hotel, Abu Dhabi Yas Island is perfectly placed to enjoy some of the capital’s finest sights and experiences. Keeping up with the area’s all-encompassing attitude, the property caters to a multitude of tastes with everything from classic Italian fare to bold Latin flavours and laid-back poolside dining. Leading the culinary charge at this property, as well as the neighbouring Park Inn by Radisson, Abu Dhabi Yas Island, is executive chef Adam Tracey. “I started my career in a small country house hotel on the south coast of England about 22 years ago. I got a job as a kitchen porter and loved the environment,” Tracey explains. Gaining experience at various venues across England and then the UAE when he arrived in 2007, Tracey took up his position with Radisson in May 2015. “I have been lucky enough to have been part of many high profile events in my career. From working with Peter Gordon of The Providores in London and Sriram Aylur of Bombay Brasserie at Selfridges to delivering many new openings during my time in the UAE and working with Jean Christophe Novelli at the 2015 Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. “Now at Radisson, I take full responsibility for the culinary operations across two hotels. I look after six restaurants, room service, meetings and events and outside catering, including everything from food production and service to staff training and the financial performance of the department. We try to be a bit less ‘hotel-centric’ and provide a sense of fun and occasion to our dining experiences, linking local produce where possible with excellent cooking, great service and atmosphere.” Expanding on developing the menus and the creative process undertaken by Tracey and his team, the chef explains: “We have very distinctive cuisines in our three signature restaurants. In each, there are native chefs as

authenticity and attention to detail are key in what we are trying to achieve. We regularly explore food trends, interesting ingredients and combinations and, most importantly, what our customers want. We spend a lot of time perfecting each dish. I think my background in British cuisine has led me to be simplistic in my approach whilst focusing on ingredients and accuracy of preparation when cooking. When developing dishes with the chefs here, we often have to work out what to leave off a dish rather than what to put in. ‘Less is more’ is often the best approach. “We also try to use as much local produce as possible but that presents its own challenges in the UAE. Where we have to import, we like to work with producers who have a story behind their produce such as great beef, chicken and fish from New Zealand. We work with the producer in the first instance rather than UAE distributors and ensure the quality of what we use is first class.” As far as chef recommendations go, Tracey enthusiastically reveals his three favourites. “At Park Inn’s Amerigos Mexican Bar & Restaurant, it has to be the fish tacos that features perfectly battered fish, crunchy cabbage slaw with a spicy chipotle mayo and warm tortillas. At Belgian Beer Café at Radisson Blu, I can look no further than our mussels. We actually have eight different flavours but I always go for the traditional with celery, leeks, onions and parsley. Also at the same property, Filini presents classic Italian comfort food and our chicken cacciatore is prepared with free-range chicken, rustic root vegetables and a rich tomato sauce.” Looking ahead, there’s plenty more for guests to get excited about. “We are gearing up to launch our new brunch in Filini in August with an à la carte menu served to your table. As well as this, we are continuing with Acapulco Fridays in Amerigos, adding new live cooking stations after the summer and we’ve developed new menus for all our restaurants that will launch later in the year.” —— Call 02 6562000 to book a table at Radisson Blu Hotel, Abu Dhabi Yas Island. Revel in the capital’s seasonal festivities at these fabulous iftar and sohour feasts

A season for reflection, Ramadan is a wonderful time to appreciate the region’s rich culture and customs. These leisurely feasts of traditional dishes and refreshments are an important part of the holy month and a great way to experience Emirati hospitality, while also enjoying a visit to some of the city’s best venues and restaurants.

Located in the luxurious Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel and Villas on Saadiyat Island, the spa takes its aesthetical lead from the beauty of Arabia while treatments highlight the latest in innovation. The oxygen awakening facial is a clear example of this contemporary approach. As global jet setters will know, it doesn’t take long for the strain of constant travel to show on the skin’s appearance, making this treatment especially prevalent for frequent flyers. The facial decongests, oxygenates and reinvigorates the skin using delicate massage techniques alongside products that have been especially designed to promote the release of pure oxygen into the skin’s outer layer. The overall effect encourages cell renewal to create a lighter and brighter complexion leaving the face looking and feeling younger. Contact: 02 4071170

Set within the indulgent confines of Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche, So SPA offers several liquidbased therapies that hone in on the importance of keeping the body hydrated. Feel your worries ease away as you sink into an indulgent 45-minute milk bath. Infusing Shiffa products with aromatic rose extracts, the bath aids relaxation while leaving skin feeling ultra soft and nourished. The spa’s signature 90-minute Turkish bath also offers a great way to unwind. As soft steam envelops the body, a skilled therapist uses black soap to effectively exfoliate the body. Infused with shea butter, this rich antioxidant soap also treats skin problems and irritations before the session draws to a close with a fragrant massage. Contact: 02 8137777

As the name suggests, Zen the Spa at Al Ain Rotana seeks to bestow its visitors with a sense of serenity and relaxation while in the oasis city. Drawing on the expertise derived from holistic Asian philosophies, the spa’s signature hot stone massage uses expert movements and hot volcanic stones to ease deep-seated muscle tension. Warmth is often used to not only relieve chronic pain but also create a calming effect. While massage points can be tailored to treat each individual’s main areas of concern, the hot stones are positioned on precise acupressure points. As the muscles warm and relax, they become easier for the therapist to manipulate. Also home to a sauna, steam room, plunge pool and hammam area, Zen the Spa is the perfect place to while away the day. Contact: 02 5961100

EMIRATES PALACE The iconic palace takes pride of place at the tip of the Abu Dhabi Corniche and embodies the luxury lifestyle the capital has cultivated. Until recently, the most expensive hotel ever to be built, the impressive structure is richly adorned with precious materials. Twelve different shades of marble can be spotted in the cavernous atrium, while the central dome holds dual records as both the largest in the world and the greatest gilded expanse ever created in one building.

ASK THE CONCIERGE

Sundar Subramaniam, head concierge at Danat Al Ain Resort, presents an essential guide to Abu Dhabi’s second city

1

Al Ain is developing as a tourist destination in its own right, and the city is growing thanks to its fantastic range of hotels, historical attractions and shopping centres. Not many visitors are aware that Al Ain was once a vital oasis on the caravan route from the UAE to Oman. The city is also known as the emirate’s heritage heartland and is one of the world’s oldest permanently inhabited settlements. There are many cultural sites to explore, a few of which have been included in UNESCO’s world heritage list. Make sure to visit historic forts such as Al Qattara, which has now been transformed into an arts centre, the Al Ain National Museum and the prehistoric tombs at Hili Fort that are known to be over 4,000 years old. With temperatures rising, cool off at Wadi Adventure in Al Ain, the region’s first manmade white water rafting, kayaking and surf facility in the foothills of the majestic Jebel Hafeet that is located south of the Al Ain city border shared with Oman. Jebel Hafeet, which is also a popular

attraction, is around 1,250 metres high and the drive up the majestic rocky mountain with its winding roads is certainly worth the trip. If you make the drive at night, when the weather is also more pleasant, you’ll be treated to expansive views of the city’s glittering lights below. At the foot of Jebel Hafeet is a beautiful park called Green Mubazarrah. The only place in the region with its own hot springs, the desert oasis location features manicured lawns, flowing streams, a beautiful lake and dozens of charming chalets. Little ones also have plenty to keep them entertained with a dedicated play area, a mini-train ride, refreshing swimming pools and a pond where they can feed fish. Danat Al Ain Resort often arranges desert safaris for guests where they can enjoy an exciting dune drive and other activities, as well as delicious buffet dinners with live Arabic entertainment. During the summer months, our City Tour is one of the most popular choices as it introduces guests to the city’s leading historic sites including Al Ain Museum, Al Ain Oasis and the camel market, while also including a trip to Jebel Hafeet and Al Ain Zoo. For visitors keen to shop, Al Ain Mall, Al Jimi Mall, Hili Mall and Bawadi Mall are the largest malls in the city. The best place to find souvenirs is Bawadi Mall as two souks – Souk Al Bawadi and Souk Al Qaws – are directly linked to the mall and have a charming heritage feel with plenty of stores selling traditional items. After a long day of exploring, plunge into one of the three temperature-controlled pools at Danat Al Ain Resort, which also includes the only Olympic-sized pool in the city. Afterwards enjoy dinner at one of our eight restaurants and bars from Luce for Italian cuisine to Tanjore for authentic Indian specialities. 3
