L’Orchestre de chambre de la HEM voit le jour en 2021 sous l’impulsion de quelques professeurs de la HEM, tous concertistes à la carrière internationale. Jouant le plus souvent sans chef cette formation de chambre est menée par un collège de professeurs qui jouent aux côtés de brillants étudiant·es de la HEM, sélectionné·es sur audition.
The HEM Chamber Orchestra was founded in 2021 upon the initiative of several professors of the institution, all internationally renowned artists. The ensemble functions most of the time without a conductor and is led by a college of professors, who perform alongside particularly talented students of the HEM, selected upon audition.
Ambassadrice d’une Genève cosmopolite et internationale, cette formation d’excellence à l’effectif modulable initie des expériences transversales avec d’autres H autes Écoles comme la HE AD ou la Manufacture et tisse des liens avec d’autres acteurs de la vie culturelle genevoise comme le Grand Théâtre ou le Festival de Bellerive.
Ambassador for a cosmopolitan and international Geneva, this exceptional and highly modular ensemble offers cross-disciplinary experiences with other universities such as the HEAD and the Manufacture. It also develops projects with other Genevan cultural institutions, such as the Grand Théâtre and the Festival de Bellerive.
Le Concours de Genève est ravi de poursuivre sa collaboration avec son principal par tenaire, la Haute école de musique de Genève, et d’accueillir en ouverture de son programme l’un des premiers concerts du nouvel Orchestre de chambre de la HEM. Ce nouveau partenariat de prestige inaugurera avec Kevin Spagnolo, 1er Prix en 2018 et diplômé de la HEM, une collaboration artistique, qui profitera grandement aux lauréat·es de nos concours.
The Geneva Competition is delighted to be hosting one of the first concerts of the Haute École de Musique de Genève’s newly created Chamber Orchestra, an event which will launch this year’s public competition rounds. This new prestigious partnership, hosting Kevin Sp agnolo, 1 s t Prize in 2 0 1 8 and a graduate of the HEM, will inaugurate an artistic collaboration which will greatly benefit the winners of our competitions.
