Brief Description We had to undertake a period of focused, in-depth and sustained research into an area of graphic design appropriate to your design strategy. You should apply a range of research methods in the investigation of issues, practices, practitioners and companies relating to your own particular area of study. This should culminate in the design and production of a Case Study in the form of a book (or print based delivery), interactive DVD or web site. My inspiration for my publication was when I visited tropical world in Leeds and saw this little chameleon. I read the description of the chameleon and understood that it represented my design practice. If it weren’t for this intimate moment with this chameleon,
Development The development was purely derived from wanting to create something physical and eye catching. The chameleon gave me a chance to use lots of bright colours which made designing the layout a very fun process. Using knowledge from my first brief of “infographics”, it was clear that it was applicable to this “methodology book”. The icons and information was structured in a way for people to see how I worked on different types of briefs.
