I extremely disagree with that. All people have different dimensions, and every single one of them is important to develop. Both, the physical and the intellectual dimensions are important. Our students have just two hours of physical education per week, and they should not be used for other things. According to developed countries, the best way to improve our physical dimension is by doing exercise every morning. It helps to release the stress and have a better concentration during classes. I think that the school should also have a sports session for our students every morning
PROM MESSAGE BY ALEJANDRA MONTALVO & MELISSA MONTEZA
To all my friends,
The world we are living in is pretty much dangerous. Ebola, ISIS, global warming, facial acne; against all odds we still managed to graduate. It was only five years ago when we started high school, we thought we had so much time left in the school, but now we see the truth, that it was not enough. Two years ago, I would be happy to be ending the school. I used to be stressed with basic math or hundred words essay, but now all I can think about is university application, scholarships and final exams. It has been such a long and hard way to be where we are, but also full of joy and happiness. As Charles Dickens put it, it was the best of times; it was the worst of times. It is so hard to say goodbye these days, because we are aware that we are not coming here every day as we are used to. Being in Biology classes with our favorite teacher, when he always ends the class telling us jokes, or Math classes when all the exercises were easy and the hand solved the problems on its own. What to say about our Math teacher, the only one who had faith in us passing the IB diploma. And others who are important as the ones already mentioned. What I really want to highlight is that all of them had taught us more than languages, history or how to solve a problem; they have prepared us for the future, our future. I think I speak on behalf of everyone by saying that I wouldn’t rather be in another school with another class. I am completely grateful for having met all my classmates and friends, we had just finished a phase in our lives and we are about to begin a new one, in different ways but knowing that we will be there for each other for the rest of our lives. Class of 2018 it’s been a splendid whole school life with you. And from the bottom of my heart, I wish you all the best.
