Twin Flames, Soul Partners, and Life Partners So, what is the difference between twin flames, soul partners, and life partners? I've given this a fair amount of thought and reading ...so here goes. Some of you reading this article know me personally and some may not. Those of you who know me, may appreciate how this article can help and clarify some relationship issues.
1. Twin Flames- These are people who connect deeply at heart level where similar pain and hardship has led to passionate convictions about things in their lives. These things could be common causes, a main
purpose, or so on. I've known and still know people who share my painful experiences and we have a common passion. The area of caution with twin flames is that unprocessed pain can eventually divide them apart if not dealt with. Two people having similar problems sometime repel each other away as well. 2. Soul Partners- Some online articles like to call this "soulmates." But the authors of the articles define soulmate differently from the common person. For the common person a soulmate is a spouse or soon to be spouse. I prefer the term "soul partner" to define someone who comes into our life to do one or more of the following: a) Help us take the next step in our spiritual growth. b)Overcome some deepseated difficulties in our lives. c) Challenge us in our growth. d) Give us helpful or tremendous support through the process.
3. Life Partners- This usually refers to a spouse or someone who soon will be a spouse. But a legal spouse may not necessarily be a life partner. A life partner is someone we have come to the place in our growth where we want to spend the rest of our lives together because
we know our chemistry has created a relationship that has elements from both twin flames and soul partners. We share common passion and purpose. And can encourage and challenge each other in our growth. Last words....after some reading, prayer to God for wisdom, and careful thought, these are my conclusions.
