In the ideal world to some, immediate fulfillment of goals and dreams occurs. However, what I've seen more often than not, is gradual fulfillment. The reason for this is because most of us have multiple responsibilities and need to chose priorities daily. Easily Unnoticed and Undervalued Someone once told me, “The process doesn't look like progress.� This was intended to encourage us that even though we don't immediately see fulfillment or easily see incremental progress, this doesn't mean we are not moving forward. Sometimes when we're too close to the subject, details can go unnoticed. The Value of Compounding
Compounding not only happens with finances, but in every area of our lives. This is why looking at habits and repeated actions regularly is important. What are our habits creating for us over time? The Benefit of Patience With gradual progress comes patience and through patience character is built. Some of us may have heard the statistics of those who created wealth overnight such as lottery winners and the such, only to lose what they made rather quickly. Any type of success, whether financial or otherwise, is only maintained through a foundation of character which takes time, patience, and hard work to build.
