Veeam launches Availability for Hybrid Cloud

Backup and availability software vendor Veeam is flaunting its newly launched Availability Platform for Hybrid Cloud at GITEX.

“GITEX is a great platform in terms of getting good visibility and networking opportunities with existing and potential customers,” said Gregg Petersen, regional director, Middle East and Africa, Veeam. “Our regional business is 100 percent channel-driven, so it’s very important for us to boost things on that front as well.” The new platform provides improved control for a data centre of any size, according

to Petersen. “This provides an organisation with a single console to manage data centre infrastructure,” he said. “This can cater for anything, from virtual or physical servers to endpoints, as well as enabling migration between a whole host of cloud platforms.
