We have come out of a cold dark winter! Not only because of lots of snow, sleet, winter tornadoes, fires, etc., the terrible 2-year long pandemic! The health experts say the Covid virus isn’t as rampant now and many people have received their shots or other therapies. Springtime is an awakening or renewal of nature’s bloom and beauty. The creatures of God’s creation come out of their hibernation period, having rested and renewed their strength, and are now ready for a new year. We humans have come out of the darkness too. The Lord has answered so many prayers of Christians worldwide. He has brought us out of darkness into the light. So, all of us can have a true Spring renewal. Not just enjoying his beautiful world and creatures. But a renewal of our spirits. Loving and truly caring for others. If the pandemic hasn’t caused you to reach out to others in love, what will? Reach out to your Savior, Jesus Christ. Ask Him to not only heal your bodies but also your souls. Praise and thank Him for helping us, for he brought us out of the darkness of the pandemic. He can and will also bring us out of the darkness of sin and despair. Just believe in His name! And welcome Him to come into your heart. “I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life.” (1 John 5:13 ESV)
