This week in boarding, the Year 11 girls could take a deep breath with the end of their mock exams. They celebrated this with a dinner at Pizza Express! Everyone in the house applauded them for their tremendous academic efforts and persistence during this period!

On Friday, we celebrated Australia Day in the house by gathering together to share some Australian snacks and drinks. The games room was decked out with copious Australian flags along with some cork hats!

We also said goodbye to our lovely Hannah on Friday. Girls gathered together to say goodbye to her by sharing some food and drinks on Thursday night to wish her well back at home in Germany.

To end the week, on Saturday, a group of girls took part in Laser Tag. Enthusiasm and teamwork were the centre of the activity which the girls were able to display tremendously. The afternoon ended with some pizzas and lots of smiles! In the end the red team won by 10 points in the last round.

Burns Night

In celebration of Burns Night, an event was held on Friday evening in Mairlot Hall. Dressed up in a touch of Tartan Years 8 & 9 girls and boys from both St Teresa’s and Cranmore were treated to a night of dinner, dancing and fun! They were given the opportunity to try Haggis, a traditional Scottish dish, as well as learn some traditional Scottish dances.
