NATIONAL MENTAL HEALTH WEEK
You may be aware that next week is National Youth Mental Health Week when we will be thinking about ways to look after our wellbeing and learning a little more about mental health. There will be lots of activities across the trust :
- Mini Medics for the Mental Health Ambassadors Years 7&8 Thursday morning
- Tuesday breaktime - join us for "Hug in a Mug" a cup of hot chocolate with all the trimmings, please bring £1 which we will give to the charity Stem4 (Poster below by Lola S)
- During your form time activity, the Mental Health Ambassadors have put together a crafty activity to encourage you to focus on the moment and not worry about the past or concern yourself with the future. Hope you enjoy it!
- During PSHE lessons for Years 7 and 9 you will be learning more about mental health with Mrs Cawley
• Year 11 will attend a seminar on Monday Periods 3 and 4 in the library where they will learn more about looking after their wellbeing during exam time
• Youth Mental Health First Aid Training for staff across the Trust
