We are a little old fashioned. As much as we want to move forward with technology and trends, there is something special about maintaining beloved traditions that makes us proud and frankly, makes many of our Members happy. We send e-communications but highly value face to face meetings and greetings. We offer online reservations, but also welcome a Member who wants to call or stop in to the Golf or Tennis Shop to book an upcoming round or match. We introduce new golf and tennis instructional programs, but love hosting our annual Member-Guest Invitationals and Club Championships. Some of our new dining events may have already become traditions! Movie on the Green and the Old Fashioned Lobster Boil have had great turnouts and look like they will be on the schedule in the future. There is something about the “newness” of first time events but there is also something about those time honored and fine-tuned favorites.
Traditions give us something to look forward to, keep us grounded and become the roots of our Club community. Revisiting and sharing events with family and friends creates a network of fond memories. Our tradition of serving Members with excellence, however, is the most important tradition we keep! S AV E

small things golfers can do to contribute to a better course and better play. Here are a few: • Pick up broken tees to prevent damage to mower reels. • Replace a sign or rope stake that has been knocked down or torn. This prevents damage and keeps the course looking neat. • Let staff know if you spot a leak to prevent turf damage from traffic in the area. • Avoid following the same path of the carts before you. • Avoid taking divots on practice swings. • Chip to the chipping green – not the practice putting green or practice tee. • During putting practice, avoid standing in one place for extended periods. This can cause damage to the green. • Put bunker rakes where the superintendent has directed them to be placed. With your help, we can all make a difference. Thank you!

C LU B EV E N T R E S E RVAT I O N P O L I C Y Special club events, wine dinners, seafood buffets and holiday dining are popular events that sell out and require the purchase of special food and beverage products, equipment, entertainment, etc. Last minute un-replaced cancellations (including changes to the party number) are unfair to those Members who are turned away due to full capacity and cause the Club to incur unnecessary expenses if the reservation is not replaced. As a result, the Club must exercise a firm enforcement of the special event and holiday dining policy. • At the time of making your reservation we will charge your account 100% of the event price. Please let us know if you have other Members dining with you. • You may cancel 7 days prior to event, without being charged. • If you cancel less than 7 days prior to the event, you will have to pay 100% of the event price. Note: Should there be a wait list and we are able to fill your reservation less than 6 days prior to the event, your account will be credited in full.
