Country Club Terms & Conditions

Introduction In order for you to get the best out of your membership it is important that you understand the terms and conditions set. We are all about making sure everyone is having fun while staying safe so we would ask that you adhere to signage and any direction by the team is followed while using any part of the Country Club. Opening times On the very rare occasion, we may have to alter the opening/closing times of the Country Club to ensure that it is kept in tip-top standard. Where possible we will give you notice and try and offer an alternative if we can. Property We welcome a lot of guests each day so cannot ensure that personal property will not get lost or damaged. We recommend leaving valuable items at home to ensure safe keeping. Lockers are provided with a returnable £1 coin. We will not accept any legal responsibility for any loss or damage. Clothing To prevent any mishaps occurring you are asked to wear the correct clothing and footwear for any activity you are taking part in. Your wellbeing If you have a pre-existing medical condition let our team know so we can make sure you enjoy the country club facilities without any mishaps. Before entering the pools, spa baths and following any visits to the sauna or steam room you should shower. If you happen to have a temporary or chronic medical condition we recommend seeking medical advice before using the facilities. If you happen to have an accident or become injured while taking part in any activity we are unable to accept any responsibility. Fire If you hear the fire alarm, please follow team members directions. Restrictions Pets (except guide dogs) and smoking. The cinema and Glen’s Den are for use by hotel residents only. The Gym is open to anyone aged 16 and over. The Victorian Baths is open to anyone aged 18 and over.


Memberships (Memberships are a minimum of 12 months) Once you have completed the on-line application and payment we will get this processed as quickly as possible. Until then you will be able to use the facilities straight away whilst you wait on your membership card. Joining Fee A joining fee will be payable on your date in addition to your membership fees. The joining fee will not be payable again as long as your membership remains current. If your membership ends for any reason and you later want to become a member again a further joining fee will apply. Payment Payment can be made in full annually or once you have completed the initial on-line process we will deduct a monthly payment from your card each month. (If you join on the 18 th of the month we will deduct from your card again on the following 18 th and so on) Cancellation If you would like to cancel your membership at the end of the term we would require one month’s notice. If you cancel your membership prior you will still be liable for any outstanding balances. Exceptions would be made for serious injury or illness and you were able to provide reasonable evidence of this to us. Guests You are welcome to bring up two guests at an additional charge. Be sure to show your guests around and remain with them throughout their visit. Bookings All facilities must be booked on-line prior to arrival to avoid disappointment. Benefits To take advantage of your benefits you should be present and be able to present your membership card. Benefits are for members only and can only be used on their own and not in line with any other offer.
