THE KEY CHAIN

I don't know about you, but I have always thought of induction dinner as a time where your sitting with your friends and just talking not a real festive ceremony. I think induction dinner is a time when people can take picture, have fun, and dance etc. This year with our Hawaiian luau theme I hope everyone is ready for the music. I hope that everyone is prepared to wear a semi-formal attire but if you can’t decide let me give you some tips. 

School appropriate attire (semi-formal)

Bring comfortable shoes

Bring money to bid on officers :)

Don’t be shy and have a fun time !!! As you all are aware at induction dinner we do a bid off. Committee chairs are not demanded to do this bid but officers are. The rules are quite simple the person who’s name is called out of the bag is the person who wins. If you bid on two officers the first time your name is called is the person you dance with. Now your all probably “ how much per ticket ?” Don’t fret tickets are only 25 Cents each so if you get four it’s a $1.00.

This years food will be made by Golden Coral. The three choices for the dishes will be pasta primavera and roast beef and chicken. If you don’t know what pasta primavera is it’s just pasta with a lot of cheese. Roast beef is meat not steak exactly but similar I think. And chicken Is pretty self explanatory. Now you are allowed to bring people who aren’t in key Club, but it is $15.00 per person due to the food if you are bringing another please select their choice on the slip you will be receiving on Tuesday. Also make sure to hand in your form if you cannot reach Stevenson's room feel free to hand it to an officer or someone you can trust and know will go to his room later in the day. If you see an officer feel free to give it to him or her. We want you to be able to attend this special event.

KEY CLUB HOW DO YOU FEEL ? WE FEEL GOOD OH ! WE FEEL SO GOOD OH ! Key Cubs you should feel so good about your selves for the first time in Key History we managed to reach 3,000 members at Fall Rally. That has been a District goal for a while. To be able to achieve that is such a great honor an something that you should be proud to be a part of. This is the first time ever EHTHS has had 3 district members go we have our amazing LTG Cynthia as butter cup Our beautiful District Editor Pak as the Flash and our extraordinary District Secretary Kelly as wonder woman. They were ready to be hero's of service for the day and did an amazing job.

I feel like we are the luckiest key club members out there because were are so lucky we have such amazing outgoing people in our club. We have three district members in our club. They truly prove to you that if you try hard enough you can achieve anything in key club may it be club or district or even international anything is possible. I wouldn’t just stop at Key club go all the way even Circle K or Kiwanis. We met the whole 1B division and lets just say they are just as amazing as everyone one in our key club Check it !!!!

Remember to say “ Thank You”

Congratulations guys who went Trick-or- treating for UNICEF at Fernwood, Lacosta, and Crystal lakes. You guys manage to raise $269.21, that is amazing guys. Now we can help kids in third world countries and mothers and more people have better efficient lives. It truly mazing how many little things we take for granted they would give anything to have. The school we complain every living moment about they love. Because they’re learning something new every moment. Also water they don’t hap purified tap water. They have water out of the ground we take so many things for granted and waste them. I mean im not one to talk because I never fully finish a whole water bottle but just to be able to donate an amount of the money I earn to people who need it the most doesn't bother me at all.

Congratulations to Jenna Luu and Celine Xia for raising that amount of money don’t forget we still have to collet Unicef Boxes today so hopefully we will still have more to give to people who need it let keep the connection and unite the children of UNICEF.
