The Sweet Tooth
CANDY garden - branches of trees with the most diverse sweets. DIOGO- Fantoche GULOSO - (dress the same as Guloso) Hello everyone! I’m going to tell you a story. There was a mother who exaggerated a little in her wishes and ate a lot ... lots of sweets. She ate so much that her tummy grew more and more. Then ... He was born. He was given the name of Sweet tooth (GULOSO)! (Music, the puppet becomes Sweet Tooth) RODRIGO- GULOSO (to the public) - I'm crazy for a snack. (He sees a tray full of sweets and treats) How wonderful! I'll eat it all! (Keeps candy in your pockets) What a delight! I like this ... I just like sweets! You know what? I'll eat more. (Eats candy and feels bad) I'm feeling dizzy ... (staggering and falling on the floor) Enters the candy monster and takes Guloso to the "sugar kingdom." Guloso wakes up.)
FILIPA-CANDY MONSTER (laughing) - Ah, ah, ah. What do we have here ? One more who loves sweets. RODRIGO- GULOSO - Where am I? Who are you ? FILIPA -CANDY MONSTER - I'm your best friend. I'm the Candy Monster! I can give you any candy you want. You’ll look much more elegant ... RODRIGO- GULOSO: What place is this? FILIPA -CANDY MONSTER - The Sugar Kingdom. The place where all the greedy are happy. It ‘s the "paradise" of fat and sugar. Everything is allowed here - there is no time to wake up, you can eat everything you want at any time you want. And ... there is no physical exercise! RODRIGO- GULOSO - Can I eat as much as I want? FILIPA -CANDY MONSTER – Yes, of course. Except, some things that are forbidden by me and by the laws of the Sugar Kingdom. RODRIGO GULOSO What is it? FILIPA- CANDY MONSTER - Everything that contains vitamins and proteins. There are no veggies here ... nothing healthy. RODRIGO- GULOSO (excited) - But you are my friend!

FILIPA -CANDY MONSTER - I am your friend and I only want your good. You can eat at your will, fill with calories. You can become fat, fat, fat! RODRIGO -GULOSO: But the girls don’t like the big-bellied boys! FILIPA -CANDY MONSTER - They like then. There are advantages to dating a pot bellied. They can use your belly as a pillow, when they are asleep, or a float in the swimming pool ... RODRIGO- GULOSO - (to the public) Girls don’t like potbellied? No? ... It doesn’t matter. I'm beautiful! FILIPA -CANDY MONSTER – Don’t hear what they say. They are extremely vain, they don’t understand anything about life. In fact, I'll give you some advice: don’t pay attention to women. They are terrible and they want to get us down. RODRIGO -GULOSO: Yes, Candy Monster. I have a friend who doesn’t want me to eat candies and wants me to get up early ... She wants to take the greedy and potbellied to what is good ... I mean, the wrong way. RODRIGO GULOSO – Doesn’t she let you eat sweets? FILIPA -CANDY MONSTER - No, she doesn’t. Just wants to shake, shake, shake. She stresses me. Don’t listen to her. RODRIGO -GULOSO: Sure. I won’t let... FILIPA -CANDY MONSTER (hand on Guloso's head) - Very well. Now,.. take a stroll through the Sugar Kingdom. There are trees of chocolate, there are rivers of coca-cola, there are cotton candy flowers and clouds of ice cream. Eat at ease and treat yourself! (Laughs) RODRIGO -GULOSO Goodbye, Candy Monster! (leaves) (HE LIES ON THE FLOOR AND HE IS SUDDENLY AWAKENED BY THE AGITATED MUSIC OF THE ENERGETIC ELF AND HIS ASSISTANT WHO START DOING PHYSICAL EXERCISE)

LESLI-ENERGETIC ELF - Activity, Energy! DIOGO-HELPER - Vitality! LESLI- ENERGETIC ELF - Here's a potbellied! Another guy that only eats what is not healthy and does not exercise. This place makes me shiver. RODRIGO -GULOSO - (waking) (So, are you the elf my friend Monster told me about?) Get out of here I don’t want to hear you. LESLI- ENERGETIC ELF: Have you fallen into the Candy Monster's conversation? I'm here to take you away from this place. RODRIGO -GULOSO - I don’t like you, Skletic Elf! LESLI-ENERGETIC ELF - Energetic! RODRIGO -GULOSO: You are evil and hysterical. You only know how to shake, shake. And don’t let anyone eat sweets. LESLI-ENERGETIC ELF: Of course not. By eating lots of sweets, you have no appetite for healthy food. From today on, you will feed yourself well and you won’t stay in bed all day. Thus, you’ll become stronger to play and study. RODRIGO -GULOSO: I don’t want to play or study. I just like to eat and sleep. MARIA- ASSISTANT - Sleeping is important, as long as we rest long enough. DIOGO- HELPER - Sleeping too much is bad for your health. MARIA- ASSISTANT - And speaking of health ... Do you know why you're here? RODRIGO -GULOSO: Of course I do, Magnetic! MARIA- ASSISTANT- Energetic! You're going deaf! RODRIGO -GULOSO - I'm here because I love sweets and the Monster is my friend. You’re not. LESLI-ENERGETIC ELF – It’s a lie. You are here because she wants you to be her slave. I’ll explain to you: you have reached the limit of sugar in your body, your veins will clog and won’t carry the blood well into your heart. If you continue like this, you can become diabetic, or even die, did you know? RODRIGO- GULOSO (scared) - Die? Can I die?

LESLI- ENERGETIC ELF: Yes, if you don’t change your bad habits. FILIPA -CANDY MONSTER (irritated) - What noise is this that won’t let me rest? !! LESLI- ENERGETIC ELF: I'm taking Sweet Tooth out of this trap. FILIPA -CANDY MONSTER: But are you the Energetic Elf? Go away. Leave my friend alone! RODRIGO- GULOSO: She said I could die, Monster! FILIPA -CANDY MONSTER - It's a lie! She just wants to get you tired! LESLI-ENERGETIC ELF- you are the Liar, Candy monster! You want the boy to be your slave and I'm going to stop him! FILIPA -CANDY MONSTER - But what infamy, Sweet tooth! I'm your friend. I want to bring you joy. RODRIGO-GULOSO: But my veins don’t carry blood to my heart ... FILIPA -CANDY MONSTER - And what do you need your heart for? RODRIGO -GULOSO - To like someone! FILIPA -CANDY MONSTER - The main organ of the body is the mouth. Without it one doesn’t live. And how's your mouth? Do you have tooth problems? RODRIGO -GULOSO - More or less ... One less tooth here, another tooth ... FILIPA -CANDY MONSTER - So don’t worry ... LESLI- ENERGETIC ELF – Sweet tooth, do not believe her! She wants to fool you. Stay by my side! RODRIGO- GULOSO: I don’t know who to believe in! (To the audience) - What do I do, friends? (FILIPA THROWS A BIG CHOCOLATE MARSHMALLOW OVER THE ENERGETIC ELF,LESLI , SHE FALLS TO THE GROUND BUT GETS UP IMMEDIATLY) LESLI-ENERGETIC ELF - Coward! You caught me by surprise.

RODRIGO-GULOSO That's not fair, Monster! FILIPA -CANDY MONSTER -Shut up! LESLI- ENERGETIC ELF- Come and fight, honestly! I hate violence, but with you it has to be. (ENERGETIC ELF HITS CANDY MONSTER IN THE FACE WITH THE CHOCOLATE MARSHMALLOW) FILIPA -CANDY MONSTER - Ohh, scary, Energetic Elf! I also have another marshmallow. (CANDY MONSTER AND ENERGY ELF FIGHT, USING MARSHMALLOWS, SHE AND THE HELPER KNOCK DOWN AND DEFEAT THE CANDY MONSTER) LESLI-ENERGETIC ELF - You need to exercise, Candy Monster. You're fat and slow. (ENERGETIC ELF HUGS GULOSO AND TAKES HIM SNEAKILY. THE CANDY MONSTER – FILIPA- GETS UP AND PICKS UP THE MARSHMALLOW AND DROPS IT ON THE ENERGETIC ELF- LESLI- WHO FALLS BACK INTO THE FLOOR) FILIPA -CANDY MONSTER- In the lady Elves no one hits even with a flower ... only with a marshmallow. (Laughs) RODRIGO_ GULOSO- You're a coward, Monster. FILIPA -CANDY MONSTER - Shut up, fat man! RODRIGO- GULOSO - Fat ?! You want me to be your slave and die! I want to be healthy! I want to run, play, study. I want to live! FILIPA -CANDY MONSTER (shouting) – I’ll stop being good to you. You’ll do what I want and no one will defend you! I'll hypnotize you! (Hypnotize him) You will be under my full control. You'll do whatever I tell you ... Your sugar is on the edge. Then you will eat this last candy (he gives him a candy) You will be my slave forever! Forever! (Chuckling-“risinho”) Sweetheart, eat the candy. Eat everything, everything! (Chuckles) LESLI- ENERGETIC ELF- (stunned screams at Guloso) Don’t eat! Don’t eat! FILIPA -CANDY MONSTER – It’s useless, Energetic Elf. He is under my control. Eat. LESLI-ENERGETIC ELF - Life is beautiful. Remember everything good in life. LESLI. RODRIGO-GULOSO - LESli! ... LESLI! ... FILIPA -CANDY MONSTER - Who is this LESLI? LESLI- ENERGETIC ELF - A leprechaun whom he likes very much. FILIPA -CANDY MONSTER -There must be a woman to mess it all!

LESLI-ENERGETIC ELF- Remember, if you lose your belly ... FILIPA- CANDY MONSTER (angry) - Eat that candy, Sweet tooth! Eat! ... Eat! RODRIGO-GULOSO - (comes back to him, gives up eating the candy and throws him to the ground) I won’t be your slave anymore, Candy Monster! I will be healthy and happy. And I think you'd better go, otherwise I'll ask my friends to fight Karate with you! (CANDY MONSTER LEAVES) LESLI- ENERGETIC ELF - It was difficult but we got rid of her. RODRIGO- GULOSO: He will never influence me any more. I want to be healthy and lose this belly, cybernetic. DIOGO- HELPER - Energetic! Too much candy causes deafness, did you know? LESLI-ENERGETIC ELF – Being healthy is up to you. If you make a good diet, exercise and, above all, you have the joy of living, you’ll have more energy. Let's go now. I still have to help a lot of people. Goodbye, children. (ENERGETIC ELF AND HELPER WORK TOGETHER WITH MUSIC) RODRIGO- GULOSO - (to the audience) - Yeah ... Magnetic Elfie and her helper made me think. I'm going to change people. To start, I'm going to do some exercise. Would you help me? (MUSIC, SWEET TOOTH EXERCISES AND EXITS, RETURNS LEANER AND THE MUSIC STOPS. THE SCENE WILL BE THE INITIAL ONE AGAIN.) GULOSO WAKES UP AND NOTICES THAT HE IS WITHOUT HIS BELLY) MARIA -LESLI: Where's your belly? (Gives him a giant candy to try it on) RODRIGO- GULOSO - It's a long story, LESLI ... (he shoots the candy into the Candy Monster's head and hits him in the head) RODRIGO- GULOSO- Now, I'm healthy. Sweets kill! Maria -Are you convinced to make the jump to a Healthier lifestyle? Filipa-Now Is the Time. Diogo- It is so easy to say “I'll do it tomorrow.” Rodrigo- But TODAY is the day to take charge of your health. Lesli- Glory, Glory.... It’s the end of the story!
