Itria Valley (in Italian: Valle d'Itria) is an area located in Apulia (in Italian: Puglia) region, in Southern Italy. Itria Valley spreads over Province of Bari, Province of Brindisi and Province of Taranto, and coincide with the lower part of Murgia upland (Low Murgia). The towns of Martina Franca, Locorotondo, Cisternino and Ceglie Messapica overlook Itria Valley. Locorotondo is a town and comune of the Metropolitan City of Bari, Apulia, southern Italy, with a population of about 14,000. The city is known for its wines and for its circular structure which is now a historical center, from which derives its name, which means "Round place". It is located in south-east Murgia, deep in the Itria Valley, dotted with white prehistoric roundhouses called trulli.
DAY 1 INTEGRATION TRIP
One of the main objectives of Erasmus+ project is to built good, international relations between students and teachers. The first trip, on Monday, was a chance to reach the expectation. While making friends, talking freely with our partners, hosting students, we went sightseeing to Valley of Iltria, a sort of natural park famous for its olive trees. Moreover, we were very lucky to see spring which has already come to Italy. We admired the wide variety of plants and flowers . The clean air was full of unforgettably flowery senses. Then we went to the UNESCO World Heritage - Alberobello, where we visited the town known for its conical-roofed houses, the so-called trulli. We all were astonished by these unique places.

Warm welcome at a local theatre, students’ presentations about their country, regions and schools were the most important elements of an opening conference. The Italian coordinator, Mario Andrisano indicated the main goals of the project, showed the aims to be reached in the future and expresses the hope for fruitful cooperation. He assured that he did his best to make that week unforgettable and it was so, indeed. Apart from the presentations mentioned above, the students were to show their proposals for healthy snacks and drinks, as a final product of the project fulfillment. In the afternoon students worked on recipes for healthy snacks and drinks that combine their identities. The partners of the project discussed the details of activities to be undertaken. Then, invited by a mayor of Francavilla Fontana, we went to a town hall. We had a chance to meet some town officials there, admire an outstanding building of the town hall. In the evening Italian students prepared a trip around Francavilla Fontana for us. They proudly described the history and the beauty of their hometown.

DAY 3 SPORTS TOURNAMENTS
On Wednesday and Friday morning international teams were supposed to take part in basketball and volleyball matches. All made a great effort to be the best, though the result was not the most important issue. When the teenagers were active, fit and a member of the international team, they felt confident and responsible for teams. Full of glee, positive energy they easily came back to their project work.

DAY 4 PORTO SELVAGGIO AND LECCE TRIP
Despite the weather, Thursday was fantastic. In pouring rain we went to Porto Selvaggio, where we had a chance to stroll along the paths nearby the sea. This place, where Italians come to have a rest by the seaside, is very crowded during summer months. A journey through the Province of Lecce took visitors from prehistoric civilizations, through Medieval architecture and to the masterpieces of the Baroque architecture of the city of Lecce, via ancient traditions and the skills of master craftsmen. Our excursion ended in Lecce, an old town. The very first thing we did there was having a hot cup of tea or coffee. We were wet and cold but eager to see this historical place.

DAY 5FINAL PRESENTATION As mentioned above sport tournaments (basketball) started Friday, the last day of our Italian adventure. We observed fantastic relations between teenagers, how their friendship was developing through the week of the short- term exchange. In the afternoon all students and teachers took part in a summary show where all international groups presented drinks and snacks. The audience had an impression that students did their best to show their teamwork. Besides gained language competence, they made friends and developed their social skills.

We are a mixture of all life flavors. Despite different cultures we were able to aim at the same goal. Being aware of the fact that each of us is unique and has different needs, we were able to cooperate together. We had a chance to meet other cultures, new people and customs. We had the great pleasure to explore Italy. Unfortunately, the weather was not as good as we had wished for before the trip.
DEAR Mario Thanks for a good cooperation, hospitality and warm heart. It was a pleasure for us to be there.
See you soon in France
