30

We want you to be involved in discussing and deciding on things that affect your experience at the college. We want you to influence what we do and how new ideas are developed.

Student Executive Team In September, a group of students are elected into positions of the student executive team. Their role is to represent the views of their campus’ student committee to senior management. The student exec team is chaired by the student president, and the team run the student union on a day to day basis, and meet every two weeks throughout the academic year to discuss topics and plan actions

The Student Voice is about:

Listening to your concerns, interests and needs

Each course or tutor group will elect one or two Student Representatives.

Every student is automatically a member of Croydon College Student Union (CCSU) or Coulsdon College Student Union (CCSU) when they enrol. The union is run by students and is here to represent you throughout your studies. We gather feedback from students about the college, coordinate campaigns, attend college meetings, organise activities and fundraise for charitable causes.

By becoming a student rep you will be a spokesperson for your peers and the opportunity to influence the Colleges environment and education provision.

Information about the student unions activities will be published on Moodle, college notice boards, and the plasma screens around campus.

Your course group will elect their student reps during a tutorial session at the beginning of term one.

If you would like to provide feedback about the college, or get involved in the work of the student union, please email:
