autumn winter 2016
Last edition of « News from Aquitaine » Since the 1st January 2016, the administrative structure of France has changed.Aquitaine, Limousin and PoitouCharentes have therefore been brought together within the same regional authority which bears the new name: «Nouvelle-Aquitaine» (New Aquitaine).
Although the new body in place has decided to keep the regular publication of a similar information bulletin, it will need to be in another graphical style integrating new developments and tourist offers for all of the regional territory.
The bodies responsible for touristic promotion from these three territories, the RegionalTourism Boards of Aquitaine, Limousin and Poitou-Charentes will merge at the start of 2017.
In the meantime, we are continuing to enrich our websites, including those dedicated to professionals: http://pro.tourisme-aquitaine.fr/
This autumn/winter 2016 edition of our bulletin is therefore the last edition that we have the pleasure of sending you in its current format. It is the last of a long series as the CRTA published the first edition initially under the title «Aquitaine Informations» in March 2001, then under the current title since March 2004.
